Taco Casa — Restaurant in Colorado

Ordered from this place on doordash because it had 4.8 stars. After my experience, I'm not really sure how it's not really lower but I ordered three different items to try from here and only one of them was basically just "OK." I should've taken a picture, but my biggest complaint was the cheese enchilada-I'm not kidding you and being quite serious when I say this "enchilada" consisted of a handful of cold, shredded cheddar cheese rolled up inside of a cold tortilla with more cold shredded cheese sprinkled on top. That's it. In no way, shape or form did it replicate any kind of enchilada, and it definitely did not look like the one they had in the picture on the menu. It was essentially a cheese roll up. I mean-I can make that at home, they didn't even bother to microwave it. The beef inside of my “super burrito” was unseasoned ground beef. Literally just plain ground beef with no seasoning. I hate to say it but I'm never ordering from here again, whole experience...

I don't eat here often but when I do the food has been consistently good at each of their locations. They have mild, medium, hot and extra hot green chile, which is always great, and the rest of the food has always been at least decent and usually very good.

Service is usually fast although there are sometimes lines, because that's what happens at places that are both good and consistent, and it seems like there are frequent changes/turnover in counter and serving staff but it has not affected my food or wait times yet so I can't say it's a definitive negative. If you are near one of their locations and you are hungry, you could definitely do much worse and would be hard pressed to find better, even if you visited a higher end sit down...

Not sure why I can't post pictures. Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Finally got the chance and decided on a cheeseburger and fries. They must use the cheapest Walmart hamburger buns because it was nasty. The burger was not the size they claim and the bun was super thin, dried out and pointless. The bun fell apart in several pieces while eating it. On the burger they put cheap shredded cheese that wasn't even melted. This meal cost me $8.00 and was so not worth it. I will go back to try the tacos but for anyone wanting a burger, you should pass...
