Food was okay. I haven't been here in a while and I can make a good guess that the chefs are lovers of salt. The food was very salty. Not too salty to not want to eat it, but salty enough that when I got home I was craving and finished a large glass of water. My wife and kids, who also went and dined with me, also drank through their waters and a few of their refills as well. I didn't even eat the French fries! I had the Big Al burger which was Very tasty, but the meat part of it was overly seasoned. I know you can cook a burger with a little salt and pepper but there was too much salt.
While I would say that it was just my burger, my wife had the Greek pizza and she said it was salty as well. My kids had a pulled pork pizza and my other son had the Big Al burger as well and they both complained about the saltiness.
Service was good, could have been better. The place was 3/4th full and we waited for about 10 minutes, it seemed before someone took our order. I feel as though the staff was rushing because behind the bar and in the kitchen, you could hear at least 5 dishes hit the floor and shatter.
This restaurant has been part of the community for a while and I only have good wishes for it. So I am not trying to dissuade people from coming here. I just want to honestly explain...
Read moreMy wife and I are regular customers because we live close, the food, staff and atmosphere is great and their patio is dog friendly. I wanted to give a shout out to Heather and Reid and thank them for their kindness and compassion during our last visit on April 28. We had to euthanize one of our dogs that afternoon and had to pick up our other dog from the emergency hospital due to an emergent event with her the previous evening. We stopped by to have dinner on the way home because we just couldn’t bear to go home yet. We sat outside and Heather came out to greet us and we told her what happened and we were there to have a couple beers and shed some tears and she shared a similar experience with her two previous dogs. Reid was our server and he was excellent, as always. He made sure our needs were met but gave us space and was very empathetic. We always appreciate the staff at Miller’s because they are friendly and provide great service; but we really appreciated the kindness, compassion and empathy they gave us on that very...
Read moreI’ve lived in Columbia for over 20 years and this was by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve had. We waited over 20 minutes to get our drink orders taken and the only reason it was finally placed is because we flagged down one of the other waitresses. I assume they’re the owners or managers, but the middle aged couple was more interested in talking with patrons they already knew instead of accommodating other tables. The food was beyond subpar and far from inexpensive in addition to them charging a 4% credit card fee! There are so many amazing restaurants on Main Street including Thai House and Bocardi’s just to name a few. If you’re in the mood for a bar vibe, just go to Top Shooter’s. But if loud, overcrowded and overpriced bland food with a 4% fee is your thing, you’ve found...
