Restaurants have become largely an impersonal experience. That was not the case here this was our first experience at Saky and it was just the best first of all when we came in we saw that other people who own restaurants in the area come to this restaurant to eat on their nights off. Do we need to say more? We can the owners were so personal and friendly and it just felt like you were part of a community the first time you came in. Now let’s talk about the food. The miso soup was amazing they brought appetizers so many sushi restaurants don’t do anymore, the fish was super fresh. In the end I was so full and I was sad about it because I wanted to order more. I highly recommend the specialty roles. pro tip ask them for their off menu items suddenly you’ll feel like you’re having a sushi experience from Japan. I never tried a sweet shrimp before and it is for sushi pros but oh my am I grateful that somebody was there to Recommend it. If you’re with adults, go for the saki bomb experience. Thank you guys so much for making last...

Service was slow. Staff members were rude from the time we arrived to the time we left. There was two of us eating and we were only given one menu. The water was like warm and the waitress didn’t come once to refill it. After ordering rolls it took 45 mins to get the rolls, and the roll was not as advertised on the white board. No prices were displayed in the menu, and the food was overpriced for the little bit you did get. The food we did get was cold or like warm. We had felt as if we were not valued customers. As we asked for the check we waited another fifteen mins for the check. After finally receiving the check, the waiter took another ten mins to bring it back so it could be sign, and then he brought it back said nothing and didn’t give a pen for it to be filled out and signed. Very poor and inconsiderate service from two different staff members. The manager came over and came off rude and was not supporting of the paying customers that we were. Will not eat there again and completely disappointment from the...

Saky is a gem. It's unassuming but clean and charming. I have been a customer for years, and they recently remodeled and have opened for lunch business. The lunch specials are very reasonably priced with healthy portions! My favorite has been the sushi special, which is a sampler of nigiri with a spicy tuna roll. I have also enjoyed the salmon teriyaki with fried rice and a large slice of beautiful salmon filet. The rolled sushi is dramatically discounted during lunch, making it a great option if you want to try some $15 rolls at nearly half price! The lunch specials also include an appetizer of salad with ginger dressing and miso soup! I have an hour lunch, and I leave with plenty of time to spare. The service is incredibly friendly, as always, and I will continue to frequent...

Excellent sushi. It was my first time going and my girlfriend was very enthusiastic, as it's one of her favorite restaurants, so we got a number of starters. The tempura plate was delicious and crispy. The gyoza had a great flavor profile and the sauce really completed it. Even the egglplant salad was wonderful which took me by surprise, it was sweet and a little smoky in flavor. The edamame was a bit boring to be honest, but hey that's edamame for you. The sushi rolls we got were the birthday roll and the yami yami roll. Both were amazing. The birthday roll, which we ordered spicy rather than mild, had just the right amount of heat. The yami yami roll is deep fried, so it was very crispy on the outside and the creamy avocado inside made it great. Overall a great experience.

Don't let the outside fool you, this place is serving up homemade food that is so comforting it will easily become somewhere you crave to go after long days. We got the shrimp shumai dumplings and bento box B. I had no idea the shumai were going to be handmade dumplings. It was so delicious. The miso soup was very soothing and full of miso flavor and seaweed. I love when places put a good amount of tofu and seaweed in the miso soup. The bento box was presented beautifully. And all of the food was so delicious. There is fresh homemade kimchi they serve as a side and it was crunchy, spicy, fermented goodness. Service was as speedy as possible with only 1 server. We plan on going back soon! Enjoy some pics!

This restaurant popped up in search results when looking for bento and we weren't disappointed. It is a small-ish restaurant, completely un pretentious with delicious Japanese food. There are parking spaces just outside, and a very attentive hostess seats you at your table and promptly takes your order. They have Japanese beers and pretty detailed menu to choose from. Food didn't take too long to arrive and it was worth the brief wait. The restaurant itself had moderate decor, facilities were small and clean. I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for good Japanese food served quickly, very much like most restaurants we visited in Japan. 10/10
