I have to say, we're a bit hurt. We just moved into the neighborhood and have been looking for a new pizza shop to make our go to for those busy nights. We got one of those packets of coupons in the mail every homeowner seems to get and it included coupons for Angelina's Villa.
We order that night and fell in love with the pizza. To the point where we decided to make this place our go to. We even saved our receipt so we wouldn't forget which pizza shop. The driver mentioned the owner was close friends with the previous homeowner which was neat and talked a bit about how they delivered to other people on our street.
We order again last night and was surprised to hear the driver tells us we can't order delivery anymore because we are outside the delivery zone. Apparently an exception was made for our address because the owner is close friends with the previous home owners.
We're not angry or upset, we're just hurt... We really loved this pizza and planned on making it our regular go to. So to be told during the second delivery we can't order any more was somewhat heart breaking. The previous home owners moved out MONTHS before we even moved in, your system let us order, and we've been told you deliver to others on this street. To be honest, this felt like being blacklisted, but I understand the situation.
It is what it is. We're not angry. We're not upset. We're just hurt. Safe to say we won't be ordering again for delivery or pickup.
Edit: I wanted to add we're a 10 minute drive at max from the store. Edit2: Why are we still getting coupons for you guys if we're not in your delivery zone? This is...
Read moreThe pizza was good. However there was a hiccup with my order. I ordered a large half pineapple and mushroom/half extra cheese and mushroom pizza, as well as a large all beef with half banana peppers. I picked up and paid for the order, redeeming a coupon. I was not able to use the $20/two large pizza coupon due to being told one of the pizzas was a "specialty": ground beef. I said I've redeemed that type coupon before with that pizza. I was told again the coupon could not be used. I said o.k and paid the "specialty" price and drove home. Was ready to feed the family when it was noticed the "specialty" pizza was pepperoni. I ordered beef. I drove back, explained this and showed the pizza. The employee who entered the order happened to be the person whom waited on me the first time. He shared with me the order was for ground beef pepperoni which was why is was a "specialty" pizza. I explained I placed an order for beef, not mentioning anything about pepperoni. He corrected the order and refunded the difference for the "specialty" pizza, which was great, however I felt there should have been a small complimentary offering for the inconvenience: 1): For the extra trip and 2): For the other pizza having...
Read morePOOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered a pizza for my friend to have delivered to them there. The company ran my credit card knowing I would not be present with my credit card and ID when the pizza was delivered but they ran it anyway and did not say that was a problem. Upon arriving with the pizza they demanded to see the cc after we reminded them of the situation that they OKAY previously they would not leave the pizza. We explained how much of an inconvenience that was because it was never explained to us that I needed to be present and that we would have ordered elsewhere if they would have originally explained that and in so many words the rude employee and owner of the company said TOO BAD THAT'S OUR POLICY WE ARE NOT COMPENSATING YOU IN ANYWAY IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM. She wouldn't apologize or even give a coupon. Saying oh well too bad for you is their company policy and she said now wait however long it takes for the bank to return your money it's out of our hands. Unnecessary rude owner! A simple apology for not explaining company policy and maybe a free 2 liter coupon would have been better customer service. But now I see why I've never heard of...
