We were very excited to try this place. I verified close time of 8 pm ahead of time. When we arrived at 7:10, I verified again on the door the close time. There was also an open sign switched on. The restaurant was rather busy, although it was almost only Asians in the place. I thought great, this looks good and authentic. We sat for a while and waited. It was very hard to get anyone's attention. Someone walked in after us and went to sit down. Finally someone came and brusquely said that they were closed. When I questioned, she said we close at 7. I walked outside, and we verified the close time again. 7:15, I walked back in. Again, it was hard to get anyone's attention. Someone across the room asked what I needed and across the room back, I asked to speak with the manager. She said although they close at 8, everyone must be out the door at 8. They only take people before 7 and take out until 7:30. I said then you should close at 7! I also pointed out someone else came in after us and sat down. She said that was not true. I said my husband outside can verify. She said she can verify by the camera. So we went down a mile or so to Erawan Thai and had my husband's favorite Thai food in Columbus so far. We were seated quickly, treated nicely, and had a peaceful meal. It...

this place is reallly really really delicious. i think it's the most authentic one can get in the middle of ohio. it's big and spacious with a lot of sitting AND IT GETS BUSY FAST cus it's really good. (lots of asians so ya kno it's fabulous) and customer service was great from what i remember. the food came out in a moderately short time so cheers to that.
OFC this place does NOT play around with heat and spice--AS IT SHOULD BE !!! ya kno thai people can take the heat so i super appreciative that they stay true to their culture.
so i got the shrimp curry with a heat of 2? LOL i'm weak ok but it still hurt lowkey but i still love.
my portion was decent but my friends got HUGE PORTIONS THAT TASTED AMAZEBALLS. LIKE YOU CAN TASTE THE CRAB IN the CRAB fried rice blended very well with their spices and seasoning (forgot the spice level). while my friends pad kee mao was REAL SPICE (i forgot what heat they picked) BUT REALLY GOOD. super flavorful AND you can taste the wok hei (like you know it was cooked on high heat on a wok).
i don't recall any really GOOD thai places in ohio besides bangkok. LOVE THAT THEYRE ATTACHED TO A GROCERY STORE TOO. YES....
Read moreIf I could give this place a 10 star rating I would. Let me start off by saying that I live out of state, and have traveled the world indulging on some of the most fascinating cuisines of all types! This place has a wide variety of traditional thai & Chinese dishes. I've tried most of the menu and everything is excellent! Hands down the best pad see ew in town, and for anything you can find when you're out of town as well. Once you've finished and are nice and full, stop right on over to the family owned grocery store filled with asian cooking essentials, snacks, spices, etc! Everyone is super friendly and helpful both the restaurant and grocery store. For a family owned local business that offers authentic great tasting food with excellent customer service and a cusual like atmosphere what more can you ask for! It's a must for my family and I to stop in everytime we travel back to columbus. Thanks for such a great...
