Went here for the first time last night. It was about a 20 minute drive from where we are at. I use to live right down the street off of Beechcroft in Forest Park East from a Cardo’s back in the 80’s and we ate there all the time. Not sure if it’s the same Cardo’s or not, but regardless the pizza was absolutely amazing. It will definitely be our go-to despite the drive.

I really love the old school atmosphere of the place. Plus the back way drive there gave me great nostalgia of growing up. Just seeing parts of the city, factories and all the graffiti and trains. Aside from the pizza, that alone was worth the drive.

The pizza stayed hot & crisp the entire drive, which was awesome. The crust isn’t thick and also not too thin, just perfect. ABSOLUTEY loved their sausage and the fact that it had plenty of fennel seed. I tend to heavily judge pizza joints by their sausage and theirs did not disappoint whatsoever. On the flip, I think they might’ve of accidentally given us a medium pizza instead of the large we ordered, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. It was ridiculously delicious and fed both me and my Wife.

Despite currently living in Grove City, we will be coming to Cardo’s most of the time from now on. That’s no disrespect to Zamarelli’s, Tammy’s, Grandstand or any of the other...

This is a mom and pop pizza place. We went there today and the food was great. I had the High Voltage pizza with extra jalapeños. They were very generous with toppings. The pizza had a lot of big chunks of sausage. Another bonus was this was NOT a greasey pizza. It had great flavor. Other people in our party got the Gondola subs which they really liked. Then my kid got a meat lovers pizza. He really liked it and said the sauce was great. We also got cheese bread. Like I said before, they don't skimp on the toppings. Great value.

If I happen to be in that area again, it will be at the top of my list. The dining area is simple, but it's the food you want. They do a lot of carry out business based on what we saw while eating. The people who took our order and served us were very friendly and helpful. Don't go for the atmosphere. GO for the great food and...

Love the tatse of the pizza!! Excellent, depends on which night and who makes it. But 1 put of 20 pizza is AWESOME... But the disappointment is in the subs... the Italian has a piece of ham thats 1/16th of am inch thick like 4 pieces of paper together. And the pepperoni is paper thin 1 piece.. i camt believ that they cant make the meat thicker its a total rip off. 1 piece of ham and 1 piece of pepperoni.. that is not and italian sub. They pur so much lettuce on it to where u feel like your eati g a salad .. But come on. The company changes outrageous prices for nothing. I'll continue to order pizza. But will NEVER order a sub again. I want a sub im not going to pay $7 for 2 pieces of meat that u can't even taste or see. The company has great food. But ripping u off on money...

I stopped in after hearing the pizza was good. I was greated by a couple friendly faces. The menu on the wall like the old days I loved it. I ordered a small spicy pizza and helped myself to a few games of pinball while I waited. The pizza had a nice thin not burnt crust, I prefer thicker crust but this was spot on. The flavors exploded and sauce sausage is perfect. 9.7 honestly, and it has to be with chain competition across the street. A bit odd to get to with having to get in from a side street entrance but so worth it.
