This review is for Casey's car wash which I find very interesting it doesn't show up anywhere to review it. This carwash is less than a block from where I live so this fact of convince is the ONLY reason I kept going back for the absolute worse car cleaning experience EVER any place I have ever used a car wash. Countless times when this carwash still dispensed quarters from a change machine I would be ripped off a $20 or a $10 bill, one night it got me for $40 because it had two sides to it above which was a red light bulb which when unlight was supposed to mean that there was quarters available and ready to be dispensed. This time at Casey grab your money and give you no H2O carwash I put a $20 in one side and not one quarter came out but my $20 made the red light come on signaling that that side was out of quarters. I was very angry but it was late and I needed a clean car in the morning so I put another $20 in the left side only to have the exact same thing happen. I kept a tab Everytime I was ripped off either being shorted quarters or absolutely no quarters came out and it was just over $100 in five years. That's a lot of 25¢ car washes. And this is only the tip of the iceberg at this place when it came to problems. Most of the time the quarter machine just had no quarters in it sometimes for weeks at a time. I can only assume no one took the initiative to service this place because there would be lots of mud and overflowing garbage cans, weeds growing up all around the building. If I needed to use a vacuum I always had to first empty out the crap in the dust bin because it would be so full there was no suction because the hose would be clogged with crap from sucking out lots of cars. Again this is a maintenance issue. I don't know why the person that owns this carwash doesn't just close it down and sell the land they are building new homes all around it and I'm sure that's exactly what someone wants right in front of their new home a run down carwash with garbage everywhere. On almost every occasion when I got ripped off I would go try and reach a manager in the store and either there was no manager there or if there was first they would look at me as if I were crazy or something like they had nothing to do with the carwash with the same sign as the store/gas station. One consistensy was that these managers/employees NEVER once gave me my money back and always had excuses when I would request the owners number so I could talk to them. So the only recourse I could think of was to contact Casey's corporate offices via email. I sent dozens of emails with not even one reply. Finally they broke me and I gave up the fight between good and evil and have learned my lesson I just don't frequent that Caseys for gas or a pop or carwash for NOTHING. The other day after months of not going there I was just going to rinse the dust off of my car so I pulled into one of the 3 bays and the only reason I did it was because I actually had $3 in quarters on me. I went to put the quarters in the machine and the in slot for the Quarter had been welded closed upon investigation I found that they had attempted modernizations and installed one of those new machines that you just scan your debit or credit card and the carwash runs until you stop it kinda like a meter in a taxi cab. So I was somewhat impressed but that didn't last long because the darn thing wouldn't take any of the four of my cards including my bank card from here in town! So my being impressed was totally off because I'm sure the only reason that these new machines were even installed was only so the owner didn't have to keep the quarter machine up anymore. not that he or she ever did to begin with. The moral of the story is if your lucky enough to have a carwash and all you have to do to make what I'm assuming would be a good amount of money for very little work is DO THE VERY LITTLE WORK AND REFUND YOUR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY GET RIPPED OFF BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT A GOOD...
Read moreSo this Casey’s isn’t terrible. I thought the parking situation could have been a bit better. That would have made it a lot nicer. Also, there aren’t a ton of fuel pumps and you may need to wait. I also thought the bathroom was a bit small, which means you may also need to wait to use it.
With that being said, I didn’t have any huge issues that some of the other folks on here appear to have had. The pizza was hot and fresh, and the staff were friendly enough. The drink dispenser worked but could have been cleaner. There was also trash on the floor of the bathroom and the floor of the store, also there was a bit chaotic organization as there were pallets of product out.
Overall a solid three out of five. Just needs some better parking, and some bigger fuel pumps and restrooms. Also could be a...
Read moreI recently noticed the manager of this store is no longer around? Their has been a steep decline in the customer service, cleanliness and overall spirit to the store. Its unfortunate, our kids loved him he always talked to us and treated us like family! Its not the same there. Every time we go in now it's people that clearly don't want to be there complaining about their schedule their new manager and the District manager. This was our store of choice in town due to our location and him but now we go to the Pump & Pantry across town...
