Nana's Patties & Things — Restaurant in Columbus

It’s truly a hit or miss with this place. I ordered cabbage for both meals and didn't receive it. No call was made to me asking if I wanted to proceed with my order due to them not having what I order. They just wrote on the coverall (cabbage still cooking). In addition, I order extra sauce for both orders and they did the whole opposite! There was VERY light sauce (very little at all)!!

I have ordered from this several times and had stop ordering from here due to a few times my order was messed up and I guess I will need to completely stop giving them a chance.

The lady who works there normally is very professional, friendly and has Great customer service skills! Whoever she has replace her while she is out needs to know how to read the orders and make sure they contact the customer if there is something not available that the customer order. I’ve been on the hunt for great Oxtails outside of my usual go to. I decided to try Nana’s through door dash. I thought the oxtails were okay, I felt like I got more loose piece of meat in the sauce versus the actual piece of the oxtail. There wasn’t a lot of oxtails for 20.00. The peas and rice also okay. I didn’t realize when I ordered that I didn’t need to order the rice separate so I ordered a side of yellow rice also which was very good, cabbage lacked some seasoning. I’d go back to try something else on the menu but I wouldn’t get the oxtails again. All together with delivery I spent 30.00 for one dinner, for that total cost I was expecting to be blown away that didn’t happen. I forgot to mention I stopped by the actual Nana’s food truck durning the week for the oxtails and found out that they only serve them on the weekends, the staff was very nice and pleasant so much that I tried again a few days later...

I had a strong craving for some jerk chicken, of all days on a Monday that happened to be a holiday. I knew my options would be slim, and my go-tos would be closed, but this restaurant/truck pulled up on UE so I had to give it a try. I was a little nervous about the patty - hadn’t seen one that color or type before but it was not bad - just different. But, I also tried the Nana’s Special and the flavor of the rice in it was amazing! I hoped for a stronger jerk flavor on the shredded chicken but it didn’t stop me from enjoying.
