Okay so I am going to start with.. I eat ALOT of pizza. I am going to tell you what I liked. And what I disliked. The things I disliked can most certainly be capitalized on. This review is not set in stone. I just have a few opinions. Take that for what you will. But Okay so the crust was good. Cooked the right amount. A littler on the Crisper side which I enjoy. But not overdone. A big thing I will say that surprised me is the sauce. Alot of places cannot get away with too much sauce. In very many cases it can ruin a pizza. And I am not a huge sauce guy so this is saying something. The sauce at Josies is a very light good tasting kind of sauce. There was a little more than id normally prefer. But I did not mind one bit. Which is a first ever for me. Knocked that one out of the park. The only 2 gripes I have is #1 the pizza NEEDS more pepperoni. I know you can always order extra. But if you order a pepperoni pizza. It is because you want to taste pepperoni and You want to have pepperoni in every bite. Forsure. And If you don't like alot of pepperoni then why order pepperoni? Then I would say #2 is that the pepperoni pizza NEEDS more seasoning. And again if you don't like alot of seasoning or alot of pepperoni. Idk about you but when I eat pizza it is not because I am trying to be healthy. It is because I want to take pleasure in eating it. I think if josie's could capitalize on those 2 things. They could and would have the best pepperoni pizza possibly in all of Columbus. Easily. With those 2 things in mind. I would drop my regular pizza place for them. I hope they read this review. And I will come back again gladly. I just hope those 2 things are atleast taken into consideration when I do. Lastly I just ask that you Cook one pizza the normal way. Cook one loaded up with pepperoni and a little extra seasoning. Put them side by side and tell me which one is better. I hope to come back and give an easy 5 stars. CAPITALIZE, CAPITALIZE,...

This place has been around for almost 60 years. For my family it was a staple because we lived on Rodgers Ave, my mother has been eating their pizza since she was a kid and so have I. After 33 years on this earth this is the pizza I dream about, I now live in Cleveland so I don't get it very often and now it pops up in my dreams. When I first came to Cleveland I was trying to find something close enough to Josie's and only one place could Pegasus in Richmond but it closed shortly after I moved there. So I was lost till upon a trip to Columbus I decided just to drive to "The Bottom's" to see if it was still there and it was! It tastes just as good as ever, I now try to stop in every trip to Columbus. However it is greasy and its not fancy, and why should pizza be fancy, its still a damn good pizza! Bring acid reducers! We end up getting subs and a small pizza, try the subs they are superb! We do this so we can have both options, to me its worth it! The only thing that is missing is the Pac-Man and Centipede...

Just moved to German village ordered here a week ago for delivery with no issues, ordered tonight and the woman on the phone with out even knowing we’re 511 was because I didn’t finish the name of the street said we don’t deliver there. It’s 920 pm and I got delivery a week ago (by the way it was really good.. unfortunately) she then tries to say goodbye and hang up and I was like “OKAY I guess I won’t get a pizza ?” Disappointed as can be because I really did like this place and wanted to show my roommates, both of them heard how nasty and rude she was. Not cool will not call or order again :( (I would have drove to pick it up it’s 3-5 min down the road).. I can’t reply to the owner comment so I posted the pic, I know you didn’t know where the call was from I could not get out anything but my addresses numbers before I was told you don’t...

I placed an order on Wednesday for an Italian sub, perfection, I loved it. Fast forward to today and I wanted pizza first thing that came to mind was Josies, so I call and the lady who answered remembered who I was and the day I ordered! In this day and age, where customers are just a dollar sign, it felt great be genuinely acknowledged. I will be a regular because she made me feel like I already was! Great food great vibe great people! I will definitely be returning and will definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a pizza, sub, or wings, and to anyone who wants that nostalgic, "come back again y'all hear?!" Feeling. Kudos You guys kudos.

I ordered Josie’s while on a trip because of the reviews. I ordered a large pepperoni well done. My favorite part, the dough. Super fresh and was great tasting. The sauce was okay. The price was a little steep for the pizza I ordered. The area surrounding the building was a little suspicious. When I pulled up, I thought this cannot be the right building however, it was. The parking lot was weird and the entrance that you had to go when you had to park further because there was only handicap parking right by the doors. I would try again but wouldn’t go out if my way to stop here.
