Unfortunately, Tommys has changed. I had a polarizing experience 2 months ago and it hasnt stopped bothering me. I walked in, it was busy and I was informed that I would have to wait. Which was an no problem, then a group of four white females came in after me and the same guy approached approached again, I presumed to let them know about the wait, but he greeted and immediately seated them .( I am a black female) I said excuse me, but you just gonna skip me? He then proceeded to prufusely apologize and seated me. This was not because a table of four was ready and a table for 2 was not because the tables we got seated at were empty and we're directly beside each other. I was highly upset. And the ladies asked to be seated at another table because he sat us beside each other and I was actually crying because I felt so humiliated but they were uncomfortable! I never spoke to them. Tommy came and spoke to me and apologized and the guy who did it came and apologize and said we are not like that. while I was in tears. now I could have really acted up but at this point my feelings were just so hurt because I have been coming to this restaurant forever that I was just numb. As I sat there in waited for my guest to arrive. The guy approached me again and apologized again. I was never offered any type of Comp for my meal, a discount, a coupon, which I really didn't need. Because I will never come back here again. But the audacity to treat me that way in front of everybody and to simply just say sorry while I sat there crying and embarrassed is pretty messed up. I know Tommy's has been around for a long time and people are going to say this can't be true.. That's why I had to think long and hard before I posted this because I enjoyed coming here. The people change period I will never dine at this establishment again and I don't recommend anybody of color go there..the staff will treat you like a second class citizen if you catch them on the day their racism is coming out...they hide it well to get the money from people of color but really dont want us there. GOT THE BILL AND WAS CHARGED $1 EXTRA FOR THE MEAL AND WAS CHARGED $1.50 EXTRA FOR ADDING HASH BROWNS TO 1 ORDER.
WE NEVER ORDERED HASH BROWNS EXTRA TO AN ORDER. WOLF BREAKFAST BOWLS CAME EXACTLY AS STATED WITH NOTHING EXTRA. SO WHEN I GOT THE BILL AND I WENT UP TO THE REGISTER I WAS TOLD THAT THE PRICES WENT UP SINCE WE GOT THERE. I ASKED HOW CAN THAT BE BECAUSE THE SIGN STILL POSTING WITH THE BREAKFAST SPECIAL PRICE. SHE SAID WELL YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY BECAUSE IT'S ON THE BILL. TOMMY WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND THEY SAID HE WAS OUT BACK. I'M GOING TO POST THIS ACROSS MY SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS. When you come to Tommy's you're always going to get food. I ordered a hamburger and I asked to have it medium if you can. When I receive my hamburger it was cooked perfectly medium pink Center. Anywhere you go you ask for a hamburger medium and it'll always be cooked all the way through Tommy's crooks definitely know how to cook.

Read moreThey seated us at a booth that wasn't cleaned off and covered in food which wasn't an issue but when the waiter came to wipe the table, he wiped all the food onto my husband and I. So instead of wiping it to the front so it doesn't get on the seats or us, he wiped it to the side onto us. I told him he got food on us and he just looked at me then walked away. When I told him that what he did was rude and he should've apologized or at least offer us napkins since the table didn't have any, he just made a bunch of excuses saying he worked there for 15 years and this has never happened before. He didn't say sorry and he didn't think he did anything wrong. When I told another employee they said he doesn't speak good English which made no sense because that has nothing to do with manners and I just had a full conversation with him, so he obviously did speak English but he just had an accent. To top it off he kept mean mugging me everytime he walked past our table. The final straw was the ceiling next to our table started pouring down water. They just put a bucket under the leak and didn't say or offer anything. The waitress who served our food was nice though and the food was alright. But it doesn't seem they value the customers much in my opinion because of how we were treated while we were there by most of the staff.
