Trout Air Tavern — Restaurant in Columbus

Had reservations at 6pm on Saturday night. Didn't need reservations as it was seat yourself and sat right down in dining room. Service was slow even though not very crowded. Asked for beer list but didn't have one yet from new menu. Server didn't know beers, so just went to bar to find out and order drinks throughout meal. Asked for TV to be moved to final four basketball game and though server said she asked, didn't get it moved till over hour into meal after asking two more times. Horses were on tv we wanted moved, but they were replays and folks weren't watching. Had bacon cheeseburger pizza as a starter which was good size to share for four and good flavor. Meals were broiled trout minus cheddar cheese (delicious), pot roast (moist and good over mashed potatoes), and veggie omelette (large portion, good potatoes). Overall good food, slow service. Will return and try some happy hour...

We used to go to old Trout air restaurant and wanted to see if the fish was the same as we remembered. The fish tasted pretty good but it sure was a tiny piece. Not much more than a tablespoon worth of fish once it was picked off skin. It was one half of a small fish. Service was great and quick. Not a dinner destination for me.
