81 Stakeout — Restaurant in Comanche

We had never eaten here, my neighbor works there I believe. I would have given the food a 5 star but couldn't. My husband ordered the Salmon and I the Grilled Shrimp, I wanted a steak but no small ribeye only Angus. The shrimp was good size but there is a main vein that wasn't removed and should have been. The shrimp was just a little tough but good, the mixed veggies were a little overcooked The salad bar was fantastic on point and the dessert bar was on point also, fresh baked cookies and the chocolate pudding yum! Oh my husband said the Salmon grilled was excellent, he should know we took a cruise to Alaska and he ate a lot of Salmon lol. Just a word about the restroom I used, it had Male/Female on both bathroom doors?? Anyway for a M/F bathroom I used it was very clean and even on floor around the toilet no drips!! Everybody kept telling me how great this place was so I decided to go tonight. The only good thing I experienced at this place was the wait staff and the bus boy. The food was terrible. All of it, everything we ordered was horrible. Between all of us, we had an array of different things. I don’t know if the cook was off or what but this food was awful. And what is going on with all the flies? When we went to the salad bar, the flies were all over it. When we got back to our table, there were flies everywhere. They would not leave us alone. It was ridiculous and disgusting. I am going to say I’ll never eat here again, and I would not recommend this place at all. But thank you to the staff. You guys...

😳😳😳 that was rough. There were 6 in our party. We made a reservation. This was our first time there. We were there for over 2 HOURS!!! It was very crowded and kinda hot inside. It took over 30 minutes before our order was taken. Our food took forever and only half of our food came out. Half of us were LITERALLY DONE with our food before the last 2 received theirs. The waitress was not very friendly and never acknowledged how bad the service we were receiving was and didn’t apologize obviously. The food wasn’t that good.
