Edit to my review!! Came in today to get some food, excited since it had been closed for so long. As we were looking over the menu we were greeted by 2 employees, that was awesome. They then told us to order on the kiosk. 3 employees were standing there talking amongst themselves as we tried ordering. If they weren't doing anything i don't see why they couldn't help us or the customer behind us. We had an issue with the kiosk because it does not allow certain modifications so i asked if the girl could please take our order. Instead of just doing that she came all the way around the counter to help us because she thought we were too incompetent to work the kiosk. I showed her that the issue was not being able to modify an item and that she would please need to take our order. Instead of just doing that yet again she said "Well they usually just want us to help you order on the kiosk". So why couldn't she take our order then, I'm confused? People don't want to work at a restaurant that was closed for several months, not good customer service or a good look for you Del Taco!!!

The food freshness here is pretty decent and we frequent this place. If there's any challenge I would say that the staff in general just needs a good dose of customer service and pleasantries. Obviously that's on management to set the pace. I stood at the counter for about 2 minutes and had four people just look at me but never acknowledged with a hello, a head nod, a smile. Read moreWalked in and could only order via self serve kiosk. When there were (no lie) 8 people standing around doing pretty much nothing! No one in drive thru. We were a party of 2 and the only ones inside. They just stood there and watched us place our order. No welcome or hello either. Took twice as long as when we used to order with an actual person. Still waited (and waited) for the order to come out. And then it was wrong and missing items. Had to stand at the counter after we placed our order to get the cups for our meals. Super frustrating!
