Gomez Burritos — Restaurant in Commerce City

The 3rd time is NOT the charm for this place. The 1st time, I ordered an egg and bean burrito. I got lots of watery beans and a few pieces of eggs. 2nd time beef, bean, and chilie, not any better. This time, I ordered the flauta plate, I was better off going to the frozen section at the grocery store. They were NOT flautas but frozen tacitos. You could tell by all 3 of them that we were perfectly rolled. Flautas are made from corn tortillas with shredded chicken and NOT with cubed chicken with melted cheese. The rice was overdone with tomato sauce, and the beans were not watery but dried out with a burnt taste. This restaurant is based on Mexican food for people who don't know better. Highly suggest if you want AUTHENTIC TRUE MEXICAN food go 8 miles down the way to Aguasacalientes. Where nothing is runny,...

We ordered a smothered, all meat burrito (I thought with steak), regular burrito, and chile cheese fries. The all meat burrito was hamburger meat with no flavor, other than the salt. The tortilla was good. The chile cheese fries were so salty we could not finish them. The regular burrito was OK, but salty. I think the chili on the fries could have been good if not for all the salt. The portions were good. We did not complain to the restaurant after we took the food home, but will not return. Too many good Mexican food restaurants in Commerce City to go here again. I guess it was telling that we went there on Friday after 6PM and only one other customer was there...

The breakfast burritos here are great! I get the #7, all pork with half and half with cheese. Every bite had meat and fantastic flavor. I like the other places....but they just don't compete with Gomez's portion sizes and the flavor taste of the green chili. This location is small, and parking is not the best since they share space with other businesses. Unsure how a couple of comments say they didn't have any flavor? Gomez has a much better taste. Tough to eat and drive. It's juicy, and you might wear it. They haven't been here very long, so they are still working their processes out. They'll get there and become faster. I waited less than 5 min for my food each time...
