Santiago’s Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Commerce City

I received the wrong order again from this location. Since the new location opened, I have went once and yep first experience was today and received the wrong order. This trend has moved over from the old location next door.

The lady bagging wasn’t watching the orders that were lined up. The morning drive thru order taker had to ask her “which order is this one”. Well she didn’t know because she was just grabbing burritos and guessed that the bag she handed to her was mine…well guess what, it wasn’t.

SMH - so I paid more money to get less of a product. I also don’t have time this morning to go back and wait inside or outside in the line to get it corrected.

Went today, and the order was wrong again. I had to repeated the basic order 3 times in the drive thru.

Ordered 2 tacos without cheese - they had cheese Ordered 2 burritos, both different with different heat as well. Those heats got mixed up in the burritos smh. Also the handhelds were super oily. Not sure if it’s some type of spray or butter to try and help not stick to the tinfoil. But it had so much it was dripping all over me. We are done with this place!

We live in the area and have wanted to support this local business since it opened. The owner is very nice but every time we come, we are disappointed.

When you order a breakfast burrito, you have to get the meat of the day whatever it happens to be. It doesn’t really matter what the meat is because they don’t put very much meat in their burritos. It’s mostly potatoes. We can never tell the difference between the sausage, bacon, chorizo, etc..

We always order extra cheese because they hardly put any in the burritos. They always charge us for extra cheese, but there is never much cheese at all.

This morning, we decided to get smothered breakfast burritos. They were definitely smothered with green chili. NO CHEESE!!!!!!!! My husband asked them to put cheese on mine and melt it. Five minutes later, I got my cold burrito back with a sprinkle of cold cheese on top.

My husband didn’t bother asking for cheese on his. As his burrito went from warm to room temperature, the green chili coagulated.

We will never be back! From now on, we will be going to Gomez across the parking lot where we always get great service...

Honestly, just terrible . Wow. Tonight was the second time my order was wrong. The first time I was annoyed but whatever, didn't call them because I figure mishaps happen. Tonight when my order was wrong I called and man, some of the worst customer service for real. I wasn't being a Karen or mean, just started to explain that my "taco salad with lettuce only, no tortillas" was basically nachos with the hint of lettuce. Nevaeh E, the girl who took my order, just laughed. I told her that the situation actually wasn't funny as I just got home (15 minute drive) and now cannot eat the dinner that I paid for due to diet restrictions. She kept laughing and asked if I wanted her to say that they owe me. Huh? After clarifying what she was saying apparently she will take a note that they owe me a couple salads but come on... who laughs at a customer with a legitimate issue? Also, glad we kept the receipt because Nevaeh E. told me she couldn't give me her name but fortunately it was on the ticket.
