El Golfo Sea Food Bar — Restaurant in Commerce

My party visited this restaurant in 2019. I ordered the boiled shrimp. It took over 20 minutes to get our meals. It was hot in the very small restaurant. And it was hard to get some cold fresh tea. Waitress seemed like she was overwhelmed. when we got our meal. The shrimps looked good. Giant size shrimps with heads on. I was quite excited. Until I started to peeling shrimp. Shrimp was Not fresh. From the head down to 1/3 of the body of each shrimp, had turn to mush (meat was deteriorating) inside the shell. I didn’t go back to that restaurant for two years. A friend convinced me to place an order at the drive-through and we both ordered fried oysters. At market price. The oysters had No taste. We’re not salty, sweet, pungent or coppery. NO taste at all. The oysters inside the breading or half an inch wide by 3/4 inch long. Eight oysters equaled about 2 1/2 whole oysters. 8 Oysters and french fries for $12.99 + tax. Waste of 💰 and ⏰ . I will never go back...

The only thing delicious here was the fountain soda. Shrimp soup was bland. It was loaded with shrimp and vegetables just not much of flavor and if you make them aware of it, they offer you fix it to your liking with the bottled hot sauce they have.
