Compton's Original Seafood & Chicken — Restaurant in Compton

So last I was passing by and I had been wanting to stop p.s. this is the day... first of all ... they greet you like old friends... if you're not sure what too get... the young lady will help you with plenty of options... they also offer lunch specials til 3:30pm ... I tried the 3pc fish & 5pc wings special... I'm the type that don't like my food over cooked... I asked that my fish be middle cooked and the wings juicy... well baby not only was the food cooked perfect... it was well season... they have a # of sauce favors... but that sweet heat ... is money... please don't sleep on the mac & cheese ... you're not only getting great food... but it's good price as well... I can say these people are cooking with nothing but love... if I had too say one word for this eatery... EXCELLENT... if you should happen too be in the area... I employ you too stop by... you won't be...

I LOVE THIS PLACE. THE WINGS HERE ARE WAY BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SPOT IVE EVER BEEN TO. MY FAMILY AND I GO HERE VERY OFTEN BUT YESTERDAY I ORDERED A SPECIAL ORDER N I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT MS. YOLANDRA WAS ABLE TO FULLFILL MY ORDER. I NEEDED IT FOR EARLY MORNING FOR MY SONS CLASS AND EVERYBODY LOVED THE WINGS THAT THEY ASKED FOR ME TO GIVE THEM THE ADDRESS OF THIS DELICIOUS PLACE N THE WINGS GOT ALOT OF MEAT ON THEM NOT LIKE SOME OTHER SPOTS THAT THE MEATS ALL DRY NOPE NOT THIS PLACE THIS IS WORTH AND NOW THESE ARE CHICKEN WINGS DONE TO PERFECTION. The chicken was tasty HOWEVER....I'm allergic to seafood! I let it be known. I was assured there were 2 frying vats. After 3 bites if my chicken wing, I had an allergic reaction! I had hives all over my lips/face and my mouth and throat began to swell! I had to drink lots of Benadyl to stop the reaction. I took the food back and my money was returned. They apologized but took NO ACCOUNTABILITY! He even tried to blame me because I knew they cooked seafood and maybe I should've considered that! Cross contamination must've been ALL over the kitchen OR my chicken was fried in the fish oil! I was and still am very disappointed. I am still healing...
