My husband and I had a coupon for buy 1 meal, get 1 free so we decided to try this place out last week. Terrible experience all together and we will not go back. Our server was sweet and checked on us several times but we waited 50 minutes for grilled chicken and fried chicken tenders. 50 minutes that we saw people who came in AFTER us receive food. 50 minutes that no one bothered coming over and maybe letting us know why we were waiting so long, especially since we had a 4 month old baby who was getting fussy. Had we not drove 20 minutes one way, we would have seriously got up and walked out. Finally, my husband went to ask what was taking so long and the food came out (of course). It was warm, not hot like you would expect food that you had been waiting on for 50 minutes. We asked the waitress why we waited so long and she said "We make everything fresh so maybe something you ordered took longer to make than the other tables". So you're gonna tell me your "fresh" chicken tenders take 50 minutes to fry in grease? No. I'm pretty sure someone dropped the ball somewhere and forgot about us but didn't want to own up to it. Not to mention there were only 10 people eating in the whole place including us. It was a serious disappointment and I'll never go back or ever recommend this place. Please train your staff to handle situations like...

My fiancĂ©, me, my grandmother and her significant other stopped here for the first time for their senior buffet and were greatly disappointed. We found them off of their Facebook page that stated that they had all sorts of old country foods such as fatback, chicken tenders, greens, slaw, and more. When we walked in we were told to sit where we would like. After we sat down we were told we could make our plates when we were ready. We were not offered any menus. The food they had there was no good. The Mac and cheese tasted like it came out of a stouffer‘s box and was made in the microwave. The fried okra they had was not cooked fully inside so it was soggy. There were several different types of chicken wings but to my surprise none of them were worth eating either. We were charged for 4 adults when we received our ticket which costed $78 dollars! The waitress that handed us our receipt told us if there was anything wrong with the ticket that they could fix it when we were ready to pay. So when we got to the front and told them we had two seniors they “fixed” it. We were still charged $71! This place is NOT worth the money nor the time. False advertising is NOT okay! HUGE disappointment! We WILL NOT be...

I heard good things from some acquaintances and decided to give it a try. The reviews seemed all over the place though so I wasn't sure what to expect. The place is clean and the staff very friendly and attentive. There was a sign saying that you can only order the buffet, which was what I wanted anyway so that wasn't an issue, just something to take note of if you're planning to try it out. The buffet was really SMALL though & didn't have a lot of options. The green beans tasted like they'd just opened a can and poured them on the buffet. They weren't seasoned at all. I didn't even try any of the other veggies after that except the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were really good. The fried chicken and bbq were great & definitely worth ordering off the menu. Plus, there was a pan of fatback on the buffet. At the end of the day though, I paid $16 + tip to eat a couple of (Styrofoam) plates of food and two thin scraps of grocery store pound cake. I drink water regardless so I can't say for sure but I think it'd have been more with a soda or tea. I'd go back, but not on a buffet night. You can find bigger, better buffets for a...

Heard abt this place by it popping up in my Facebook timeline so decided to check out the Sunday buffet. I arrived a couple min before they opened and they were already others waiting at the door. Walk in and got seated immediately by a friendly staff member. The buffet itself is small, not too many choices but for the price of $15 including a drink it works. The fried chicken was pretty good and I enjoyed the salad bar, loved that they had shredded lettuce. I did try the bbq too which was tasty, but I didn’t care too much for the other meat, I think it was Salisbury steak. But for the price, it was worth it.

Stopped in to try a local place. Food was ok. Had a BBQ plate. Wife had chicken tender sandwich. BBQ was good. Nothing amazing. Wife's tenders were very salty. My fries were good, wife's was very very greasy. No salt on these at all. Also had some fried pickles for an appetizer, this just like the chicken were way over salted. Overall. Most of the meal was not very good.

I had the cheeseburger wrap and substituted fried okra for fries. It was fresh and yummy. My wife has the buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. Both were better than expected. Down home country atmosphere and good service. The do have a very limited beer selection, but the food was good.
