My wife placed an order over the phone for 3 subs that came to a $27.99 with no issues. When we arrived to pick up our food another customer had arrived to pick up their order. The other customer took said order to their vehicle and started to drive away with this order when the man from D Angelo' s came running out to stop them only to take that order bring it inside and handed it to my wife without asking to remake it or offer a discount. Every food business I know of has a company policy to throw out and remake any food handled by anyone other than employee's in any way, nevermind exiting the building and entering a non employer environment. Quite frankly said customer seemed to have questionable hygiene habits from my point of view. None the less, as I was not part of the transaction, I must resort to a review in order to relay my disgust. And if this is any indication of this company's sanitary concerns, I question where else or how far it extends. Tried them again, sat on hold on the phone for 15 minutes, while on hold I decided to drive there thinking they would answer before I got there. Wow, was I wrong. Took 20 minutes to get there, still on hold, only to pull up and see 1 person standing around and the other doing things. When I got inside, I was greeted with "be right with you". Meanwhile the 1 person kept working and the other gazed at an empty grill. After waiting for over 5 minutes, I was asked how I could be helped as I was leaving. Really terrible customer service. This time I went to visit him I was with him at home when we placed our order and also he had it on speaker phone. So my uncle was ordering the subs I guess he got a "steak & cheese" mixed up with a "number 9" and the lady proceeded to get pissed after loosing her patients with my uncle who is a Veteran and wasn't even explaining it in a non comprehendable way and we where also buying that and a lg lobster sub which isn't a cheap total for two people. She then got aggravated even just trying to figure out what the bread was that we wanted. Then during that we got a clear comment of "oh my god" as she was getting even more impatient cause of a simple order. There was no reason for this and the fact that they had everyone's sandwich laid out on the counter waiting for the customers to pick them up shows all that they wanna do is rush out. I then went to pick them up and she apologized after I asked if she was the one who took my order. I wish I got this longer blonde hair older lady's name but she had big silver rings on her right hand Maybe in shape of a skull if I remember. Just all and all a bad experience.
