Maddy’s Food Hub is a new eatery in town and we thought we’d try it out. …So glad we did! The food was delicious. We chose the Kelewole appetizer, which are spicy fried plantains with a tasty dipping sauce. We also enjoyed Jollof with rice and beef and Jollof with rice and African BBQ spare rib with spicy hot sauce on the side. —So Good! It was also a pleasure to actually meet Ms. Maddy, who graciously explained some of her featured dishes. We felt right at home in her trendy, cozy bistro style restaurant. —Loved it! So yes, we highly recommend Maddy’s Food Hub if you’re hungry and in the mood for something that’s deliciously unique and different. Maddy’s IS the place for authentic African cuisine, and definitely worth a visit or two and more! Great food. Generous food portions. Reasonable prices. …And they do “Take Out” too.

Soooo. I've been twice in one week. I am so glad I seen the ad on FB featuring Patty's article in the Concord Monitor. I love Ghanaian food especially Waakye so I had to visit. My soul was so happy when I walked in and saw my favorite drink (BB Cocktail) in the cooler too. The food was good and I felt like I was back home with my Ghanaian hubby. 1st visit Waakye and 2nd visit jollof rice with chicken. Thank you Patty for the hospitality

Food was absolutely delicious. This will definitely be one of our new favorites. We got the fried plantains, suya, Jollaf rice with beef, and the curry goat. Everything was just the right amount of spice and flavor. The plantains were an especially big hit for my kids. We dined in and will definitely do so again as a date hopefully very soon!

I'm was thrilled to learn that there was an authentic African restaurant in town, especially one that was woman-owned! I had just learned about it hours earlier from another small business owner and decided to try it out while running errands.

I ordered the curry chicken and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The meal was delicious, savory, hearty, and there was plenty of it. The seasoning was superb!

This is my first time trying out traditional African cuisine and I am so glad that I did.

Thank you for a wonderful experience, Ms. Patty! I cannot wait to come back and try out the rest of...

Went there with my significant other and her father. Walked in and I loved the ambience. Had some good music playing and it felt pretty inviting in there.

We got the chicken shawarma, goat with jollof rice, and chicken curry. The chicken curry might be one of the best dishes I’ve had in my life. It was such a good, fresh dish that didn’t carry too much spice but still kicked you a bit.

Staff was also super nice. The gentleman was attentive enough to where we had good conversation and he checked in when needed.

Bring your friends, bring your family, bring someone because this is an awesome place that deserves...
