Old Charlotte Pub — Restaurant in Concord

We stumbled across this on Google maps by mistake. We’ve been looking for restaurants in the area and like to go to small businesses just like this one. We are only a couple miles away and can’t believe they’ve been open for almost a year without knowing.

We went for an early dinner on Sunday and it was pretty quiet in there, we were seated right away. As we left more folks started coming in. They have several big screen TVs as well.

This is our kind of restaurant. Lots of burger options, chicken, even pizza! We got a burger and chicken Philly. They were both great! Ranch was good, sweet tea was good, really looking forward to going back. The prices were reasonable as well. I posted a menu with pricing as of October 2025. Some of the reviews are inaccurate. Our bill was $29 before tip for two of us, both getting a side and non-alcoholic drink. Typically sit down restaurants have been in the $15-$20 price range so I consider this the lower end, especially if you are splitting a side.

I ordered my food on door dash and was highly upset and disappointed. The photo for the burger they advertised was a combo so for the price I paid was ridiculous. The 2 sandwiches I order was a Carolina and all America. Neither burger had any form of seasoning on and was so bland. And it tasted like a mayo and bread sandwich. The Carolina sandwich I only tasted chili ..not even mustard I tasted only chili. I thought I was getting a combo and order also a side of onion rings and the onion rings tasted hard and like they were from the previous day. Never been here before and did not even know it even existed. I was pleasantly surprised. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The atmosphere was very enjoyable. TVs all around with an assortment of sports showing. Locals coming in to sit around the bar, all known by the staff. It had that "Cheers" vibe. I was waiting for the staff to yell "NORM" to the next patron who walked in. The waitresses were very friendly, they attended to all our needs, never had to ask for anything.
