Ordered 3 Breakfast burritos, and 2 sausage biscuits when we stopped in Monday morning (2/19/24-President's Day). We were out of town with my stepkids after a long drive, and since breakfast doesn't end til 10:25-10:30am and the Breakfast menu was up, we thought it was ok to order breakfast. We ordered at 10:07 am and we didn't get our food until about 10:35, and were told it was due to a shift change. Fine. But we get our burritos, and there is hardly anything in them. There was a small amount of egg, cheese, maybe one piece of potato each and a small amount of bacon. For $4.89 plus tax, I would have expected it to be more full. They were also lukewarm. So, mostly just a flour wrap with about 1/3 filled. There was also NO SAUSAGE AT ALL IN THE BURRITOS, despite it being listed as one of the fillings on my app. We spent $25, and I'm thankful that this isn't our normal location, because it really wasn't worth what we paid. The Sausage biscuits were great (my husband loved them) but the eggs in our burritos were wet and undercooked. We have gotten these burritos at the Keene, NH location on a regular basis and they are always delicious. But Concord, not so much. Employees are poorly informed of the guidelines of charity promotions! For instance the Dave Thomas foundation key tag, I was told that you get a small frosty every visit all year long, a good deal! Wrong! on two separate occasions I learned that you get a jr frosty not small. The next time I went to use it I was turned away because apparently you must purchase something then you qualify for the deal. Having worked at this Wendys as a shift leader then closing manager I asked all these questions prior to buying the key tag! I was was reassured that it was good for one small every visit no purchase required! Each time I had an issue I receive an "idk what to tell you..." response, the employees attitude made me feel like a burden and uncomfortable. Read moreI came in at lunch time and ordered a $7 biggie bag deal. 1 customer in front of me ordering. There was a tray of unclaimed food with nuggets and fries on it The whole time we were both ordering. The person in front of me got their food and left the counter. I moved over and the server took the old fries and nuggets from the unclaimed tray and put them on mine. I said I would not accept it and I wanted fresh, he took them away but then tossed my burger Onto the tray before getting my fresh fries and nuggets. I told him he didn't have to toss my burger and all I was asking for was fresh food. I used to manage a Wendy's in Connecticut and told him I know what it's like behind the counter, but he needed to do it with a smile. He was just downright rude.
