Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Concordia

My last 3 visits in the last two months to this Pizza Hut have been terrible, especially this last visit. Having to wait FOREVER to get waited on, especially if we don’t eat buffet. Wrongfully charging us for buffet when we got food for our 2 year old from the buffet. And this last visit on Nov, 18th 2023 at 7pm was horrible. The shift leader was extremely rude to us and his fellow employees. He rudefully told a coworker to fix an issue with a lady on the phone, then told us he’d be back to take our order in a couple minutes( I clocked him at 10 minutes before his coworker came and helped us AND we were the only dine in table there besides one other in the back), also took a piece of pizza from the BUFFET and ate it as he walked towards the back (plus saw him grab food from the ‘make table’ and eat it as well), and then interrupted us when we were having a conversation with a friend that worked there.. The service is terrible, ESPECIALLY from managers and shift leaders, the food on the buffet is terrible from sitting for long periods of time, and just a disrespectful atmosphere. I’ve worked at the restaurant before, back when Ann ran the place as GM, and it was so much better with Ann or Denise as the upper management. It’s absolute garbage now. This brought back great memories! My family was on a really long road trip, and when I saw a sit-down pizza hut with a buffet and salad bar, I couldn’t believe it as I haven’t seen one in many years. Walking in and smelling fresh pizza and seeing a well stocked buffet with fresh items instantly brought a smile to my face. We were greeted by Ms. Patricia and she got us settled in, briefed and ready to eat!

Our lunch was the highlight of our trip. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun and it was the perfect break we needed.

If there were more sit-down pizza huts with a great staff like this one, then I would be eating more pizza hut instead of going to their competitors. So attention to Corporate, give this store any support they need, they are doing it right! The service was great, the wait staff very friendly. I was probably an off day for the parlor because we were the only customers. The pizza was another matter. Ok, fairly good when it was hot. However, the crust was very dry (no oil), no salt, and there wasn't enough sauce on the pizza. Most of the vegetables were cut very small, except for the mushrooms. Not enough cheese. We had to ask for additional sauce because it was too hard to eat the way it was. I only hope that on busier days that the pizza is made better. We thought that maybe most of their crowd was older, and the restaurant geared their pizza toward the older citizens who couldn't have oil, salt, etc. If I buy another one, I'll take it home and fix it to my style.
