Experienced a 25 minute wait time for the drive thru. Upon placing the order, we were told to pull around front which is pretty standard. My wife and figured they were just short-handed.
10-15 minutes in to waiting and watching others receive their food who had placed their orders AFTER us, we went back through the drive thru. The girl had to ask what we ordered, we told her, and she asked us to wait a few more minutes. So back to waiting out front.
The same young girl that had both taken our order, told us to wait, then taken our order again and told us to wait again, came out with a bag of food with someone else's order. She asked if it was ours, we said no, and we had been waiting for a long time. "Few more minutes."
After seeing 4 more orders come out and given to people who ordered MUCH later than us, I went inside to request a refund. I waited at the counter with no one upfront as they were busy. Again, totally understood. However I then heard the same girl talk poorly about my wife, stating "so they came through the drive through asking where their food was. Helloooo there are people ahead of you, like...?"
At this point I spoke up, outlined how we already had waited and others who ordered after us had gotten their food, etc.
The manager helped resolve the situation, however, stated we could not get our food and a refund (which I requested) which seemed completely wrong considering we were rounding the 30 minute mark.
Turns out, our food was given to the wrong people, the manager herself had made the food way earlier and told the girl to take it to us. She gave it away incorrectly. So someone else got our food for free and we left with our refund and 30 minutes lost at a fast food restaurant.
Managerial experience: 4/5, (losing 1 point for not comp-ing the food, but she herself was helpful, sympathetic, and apologetic)
Customer service from line employee: 0/5, for not delivering food, giving our food away, talking poorly about my wife, and telling us 3 times our food would be out in a couple minutes, which never happened.
We will not be back.
PS our order was: 1 Gordita Crunch, 2 5-layer burritos, 1 soft shell taco. Nothing that was complicated or time consuming, easily could have been resolved in a timely manner if the line employee put in time or effort to recognize us during any 1 of our 3 interactions. Seriously disappointed,...

First I called them since I ordered on Uber eats and I should of known Uber eats doesnāt work half the time but I still called to see if they got my order and when they didnāt I canceled the order and got a refund and then ordered through the app and called again and they actually received it this time, 10 minutes later I saw that my doordasher wasnāt on the map to see if they werenāt visible so I called again and they said they havenāt arrived yet and if they still donāt it would be cold, so I gave them another 10 minutes for the doordasher, I also called the doordasher and they canceled since they had to pick up their kid and I called Taco Bell again and they said I could just cancel and get a refund and I was about to when I got a call from my new dasher I finally got my order at like 6:30-7:30 I canāt remember exactly since I ordered it around 5:30. The food was warm and really good since they remade it for me. I think I remember his name Being Chris from over the phone but he was really understanding and I really appreciate it so much, I understand peopleās frustrations when it comes to deliveries in general since I do work in fast food as well myself. But this Taco Bell worker was really understanding so thank you Chris for being patient with me with my 4 calls to the store. Would of given a review yesterday but I had to go to bed early to get up and go to work to open the store. Iām just wanting to say that Chris needs a raise for being so understanding and nice to a customer(me) who was getting really frustrated with doordash and not having my food. The wait seemed longer than necessary for 4 tacos and a breakfast burrito but that didnāt matter to us. We asked for extra napkins due to our son throwing up while waiting at the drive-thru. She gave us 6 napkins and 2 wet naps and said she couldnāt give us anymore. So we walked in to get extra napkins and wet naps ourselves (at the station at the front of the store where everything is there for customers) so we could clean up our child. When I suggested she could have improved customer service and helped a family out by giving us extra napkins and it would have cost her nothing- she replied that she did and that they arenāt free!!! She was so dismissive and made a smug comment about hoping our son felt better. I was so disappointed that a person (manager!) treated another person like this- especially a mother with a sick toddler. We usually stop here when we are in town but we will not return. The āmanagerā seems to need training on basic human kindness...
