Hot Pot Restaurant — Restaurant in Connersville

I went last night with my family, including a very hyper 4 year old. We were greeted at the door by one of the owners. He welcomed us in like family. Once seated, we had our drinks within minutes. They were so kind. They hurriedly made the baby's food first, so she would be satisfied, which I really appreciated. Just a few minutes later our food arrived. They offered everything we could possibly need. They seriously made us feel like wee had known them forever, and we were coming over for a visit. I just loved the atmosphere here! They are so kind and sweet, and it's genuine. It's obvious that they love what they do. It shows in the food too! I had the Gyro, and it was hands down the best Gyro I've ever had! All of the food was delicious! And the prices are very affordable. I was surprised at the portion size, for how much it costed. I couldn't finish everything, and had enough left over for a midnight snack. The Hot Pot is just a little diner, kinda tucked away on the busy street. The building itself doesn't look very flashy, the curb appeal is neat, but not overdone. All of the wow factor lies inside of this lovely little place. We will most definitely be returning. When I went here, I went with my mom and step-dad. My mom and I ordered country fried steak. It came with mashed potatoes from a box and disgusting chicken gravy. My step-dad got chili cheese coneys. He told us it tasted like they went to Walmart and got their brand of chili and watered it down. great food and the staff were nice people. i like how they have the kitchen open so that customers can see inside. it shows they have nothing to hide and they show people that they use canned soda. i think more people should go there. it was my first time going and my family were the only people in there. this place deserves as much love as the more famous restaurants like burger king...
