Took one of my oldest friends here to celebrate her birthday. We did the day pass. For $175/pp you have full access to all the spa amenities, to include the salt cave. However, to use the salt cave, you must book an appointment. Arrive in the lobby 10 minutes or so before your appointment in your robe, ready to relax.
My GF was excited about the salt cave. I thought it was all hype and almost didn't join her, but it was her birthday and I had to remind myself that it wasn't about me, it was about her. How about? I was the first to fall asleep! Total relaxation. You sit in a zero gravity chair and before you know it, you're snoring.
I had to apologize to everyone before we left. :) I liked that the chairs were spaced out, so I didn't feel like people were on top of me. You know, COVID. Also, for those that wanted or needed it, they had Lysol spray and wipes outside the cave if you wanted to wipe down your chair before taking a seat. Two years post the Pandemic, I thought that was extremely thoughtful of them.
Included is a meal and a glass of champagne. I do not recommend the pasta. Totally get the salad as a side. Its plenty by itself. if you choose a sandwich, you cannot go wrong with any of the bread selections. I saw folks who chose the croissant and it actually looked like a real croissant!
What I love most about this spa is that it has a hydrotherapy or aqua circuit that promotes healing. There is a cold plunge pool, a Jacuzzi with very strong jet rays, waterfalls grotto. I. DID. EVERYTHING.
If you try the steam room, ask for Eucalyptus salts to throw on the floor. They are nice, especially if you are suffering from stuffiness.
For the price, I felt like I was stealing. It was such a great deal and experience.
The drive to the spa (which is on the LEFT before you reach the restaurant adjacent to the tennis courts) and off the main road at the Country Club was such a beautiful one. The grounds are well kept. I asked about the Country Club's membership. I thought it was very affordable given all the wonderful amenities that it provides.
This spa is perfect for an anniversary, birthday or girls day/night...
Read moreThe spa team was FABULOUS!!! What an amazing first spa day experience, I sure felt spoiled! My husband treated me to the Bridal Package which was SO WORTH IT. The staff was so positive, friendly, attentive and professional. All the spa attendants came around frequently with trays of snacks, smoothie samples, tea, hot or cold towelettes, and so much more! You were never left waiting for them if you needed to order a drink or food. It was such a relaxing environment overall. I was a little nervous going alone since quite a few people come with a friend or a small group, but it never felt awkward taking a dip in one of the hot tubs next to others. Bring a book and relax!
Rebekah (I think she goes by Becky) was MY GIRL!! She made sure I had everything I needed and was always making a genuine effort to ensure I was enjoying my first ever spa day! Tabitha gave me the most amaaaazing complimentary hand & arm massage and she was so wonderful to sit with for a bit! My nail tech, Rachael, did a fantastic and thorough job during my pedicure and I was so happy with the outcome! My massage gal, Tess, was HEAVENLY, she made me feel so comfortable and that was hands-down one of the best Swedish massages I’ve ever gotten! Autumn was my fabulous snack girl and always made sure I had the “goods” since she quickly learned of my love for snacks! (Lol) Lidia was amazing and always on a roll throughout the day making sure empty cups or snack containers and used towels were taken away quickly to ensure a clean spa. And Campbell finished off my spa day at the checkout and was such a great energy to send me off! Thank you to the amazing spa staff I mentioned and all other staff in the back for an incredible first spa day! I truly believe it can’t get better than this, I...
Read moreThe renovation has created room for a lot more chairs, which is great. The service offerings are very nice as always, and the facility is beautiful. The food/drinks are good, and the coffee bar is a nice addition. Unfortunately, they have started charging for things that used to be included like scented oils. When you pay what they charge for a service, it is insulting to pay extra for a few drops of oil at the beginning of a massage. No one explained the change when I called to schedule; therefore, it was left out of my treatment, which affected the experience. They also now offer no unscented/nonfloral lotions during massages despite a prior request by staff to have them for clients like myself with allergies to certain scents. They only had lavendar, which I cannot use. These kinds of things make them seem more concerned about keeping expenses down than offering a customer-friendly experience that is worthy of the prices they charge. I can go to multiple places in town and pay half the cost for a longer massage that includes a choice of oil as well as unscented/non-floral lotion. Also, they will not allow screens (phones) by the pools and will confront you and force you to put them away, which to me is ridiculous and insulting. Customers should be allowed to use phones/screens in silent mode as that bothers no one. I left after a short time there because I had brought nothing on paper to read; in this day, people read on screens. I used to always request gift cards to there as holiday gifts but find it to be a less fun experience with their...
