The Service was Fantastic! Friendly, Family, Happy Smiling Staff! The Owner went around & greeted everyone, asking how their meals were. All the Staff were helping each other as the got extremely busy as the night wore on! As for our meal:The house soup was so delectable! Then they served the perfect ginger dressing on the tossed salad that got the tastebuds to open up for the Absolutely Very Best Steak Teppanyaki I have ever had & I'm 63 yrs old!I really liked that we didn't have to sit at the grill for that delicious option! For the Huge amounts of delicious food the prices are quite reasonable! My Sister had the Chicken Teppanyaki & My Father had Sweet & Sour Pork-His plate had so much on it,he had to have another plate just to add some steaming white rice to his pork! Everything was served steaming hot, cooked to perfection, our waiter checked on us multiple times but not too much. The volume in the restaurant was at the right level, that you could have a decent conversation & the temperature in the restaurant was just right, we weren't freezing or sweating! I'm visiting from Michigan & wish I could Clone this restaurant back to Michigan because we have nothing like this there! My Compliments to the Owner & Staff on a Well Executed, & Excellent Run Business! Sincerely, A Retired Food...
Read moreArrived on Saturday and found plenty of parking. We have eaten here 3 times... twice we ate in and got it to go one time. This time, I got spicy thai basil pork, coconut chicken soup, and wife got beef and broccoli.
Coconut chicken soup was good with large chunks of chicken. In Thai cooking, this is Tom kha Gai... I will order this everytime!
My wife loved her beef and broccoli. It's an authentic version of the Chinese classic.
The Spicy Thai Basil Pork (Pad kra pao) was NOT even close to being what the actual Thai dish is supposed to be.
The real STB Pork is ground pork (or finely chopped) with garlic, onions, Thai bird chilies, Thai holy basil and a quick sauce with soy sauce, fish sauce (Nam pla) chicken stock, brown or palm sugar. and oyster sauce.
What I got from Asianos was char siu pork chunks with a Chinese brown sauce with mushrooms, onions, carrots, baby corn, a water chestnuts, and what looked like Italian basil. Holy Basil is hard to find so no problems subbing that out... It had a decent flavor but not not what I was wanting or what I ordered.
On the take out I got from here a couple of months ago, I got the house lo mein. It was as good as anything I could get in the city! But it was expensive.
Spring rolls have been good as well as Tom Yum soup. Plenty...
Read moreThe food was GREAT and the chef was very entertaining. Fresh ingredients and served in a timely fashion. Our kids ordered the shrimp, and we had chicken and steak (and of course some of their shrimp). Everything was delicious and the soup that was served before our meal was excellent. Our kids are already asking if they can have the soup more often. Our salads were a little plain, but then again we were not even expecting them. I must say, that although we chose the Hibachi meal service, the restaurant offered several ethnic Asian choices of cuisine. The hibachi and sushi were higher price choices, but there were many more economical choices available. There is a very good variety on the full menu. The place stayed very busy and was kept clean while operating a busy service. The bathrooms were small, but very clean. the parking lot was clean and easily navigated. An easily seen sign out front made the restaurant easy to find. The handicap parking spots are located right at the main entrance (which is handy if we come back with Grandma). Definitely would encourage those wanting to try some new Asian dishes to make the drive and check out Asianos. You will not be...
