I've been here before and never had a problem. The service was great, the food is always amazing, and the atmosphere is good. However, I don't recommend going on game day. We went to watch the Ravens vs Chiefs championship game. There was no space at the bar so we went to the restaurant side. The bartender informed we could have happy hour at the restaurant. Our hostess said happy hour will start when the game starts. We weren't initially told that so staff was not on the same page, but the game started in an hour, no big deal. Our server comes over and we ask her can we be moved to a table because the booth was so tight (4 of us) she told us no because the tables were for bigger parties. Ok we will make it work, no big deal. 3 people come in and they were able to sit at the table right in front of us. Now we're getting irritated, but we just ignored it. She comes back and ask for drink orders and we ask about happy hour since the game is starting. She says she knows nothing about it and she just clocked in. We ask her who can we speak to then who knows. She tells us we have to go up front and talk to the Greek lady and she walks off. We don't work there, we don't know the lady she's referring to. She comes back and we place our non alcoholic drink orders. She brings them back with attitude so we tell her there's no reason to be rude to us. We are just telling her what we were told. She gets smart with my aunt and says "there's your drinks" and storms off. Wow, ok. One lady who works the bar side came to speak with us because she recognized us (we go a lot) and we asked her to stay and be our waitress which she did. We could barely hear the game, but we knew what was happening. Overall besides for the game and that nasty waitress I don't have anything bad to say about the restaurant. I just don't recommend going on game day or any other busy day because the staff is not on...
Read moreKay- when I asked her how itâs spelled she said,â listen itâs a âKâ- and we all burst out laughing! Great start! we were greeted by our hostess and another of her team members, and they were both very friendly; our waitress K, very funny and very personable. She has great energy. When I asked of a recommendation between lasagna or stuff, so she highly recommended the lasagna with great confidence I might add. My husband ordered the prime rib and he ordered a medium rare. He also opted for the French onion soup on the side and I asked for a salad with Greek dressing. Itâs a vinaigrette it has feta in it.
The aĂŻoli that came with the Panko breaded shrimp, was spicy on a scale of one to 10 it ranks eight. There were seven pieces of shrimp, and they were deliciously fried and breaded with Panko.
Definitely homemade French onion soup- it was very savory very oniony and the bread was thick and crusty! The cheese was a good amount and had substantial stretch and mouth feel.
The Prime Rib was ordered medium rare and there was a LOT of prime rib- it took a bit to get to the medium rare color but was found and went very well with the horseradish! The lasagne was delicious- the marinara was tasty, and not too sweet, and the meatballs were right-sized- easily can they be fit in your mouth one at a time!
Overall, the service and the quality of food was great! We would definitely recommend it to someone wanting to try a little of everything. We will come back again, and maybe take home a slice of homemade dessert! Thereâs a little store thatâs connected that has a wide range of deserts and sweet treats, as well as (I think) wine options for those who...
Read moreLast Sunday I had the misfortune of dining here with friends. Now this review is for the bar side and not the actual restaurant but I'm pretty sure that they share the same kitchen. Ok upon entering I noticed a foul smell which I assumed was coming from the bathrooms, negative. Maybe it was coming from the bar I don't know. I was kind of skeptical of this place so I decided to be safe and stick with something that is in my opinion rather hard to mess up... Buffalo wings, fries, and iced tea. Upon getting part of my order, the wings since they forgot the fries, I noticed that they appeared to be somewhat burnt. These wing dings were also tiny and many had broken bones. Being that I was starving I was like maybe they cooked them over an open flame. That very first bite I noticed that this particular wing was extremely salty so I figured that all of these wings couldn't have been like this. After the third one I gave up and I returned them because of the salt. Buffalo sauce where? So ok I told the bartender that I didn't want them because they were sooooo salty and his response as he was walking away mumbling just loud enough for me to hear him say that he's never heard of the wings being salty. I don't bother to order anything else. My friends seemed to be satisfied with their orders of seafood though. The atmosphere was diminished by a group of very loud intoxicated women, one of which was wearing a bonnet with a rhinestone headband. Numerous patrons turned to give them the side eye for being so boisterous. I tried but in the end I couldn't. This bar reminds me of a place that you would go to to drink your...
