Easy to find, not a lot of breakfast places open close by where we were staying in our visit to Charles City. The hostess/server was very friendly and the dining room was clean. Coffee was hot and tasted good. My dish was good, I went with toasted egg and bacon sandwich. My husband went with an omelette but he didn’t care for it, tasted like a fried egg and his sausage patties weren’t appealing to him either. Although I saw someone had gotten the Pasty Platter and that looked great, maybe we just ordered the wrong meals. All in all okay.

Omg so I order the double burger, cause well I'm a big girl and was starving so thinking well it's maybe a quarter pound so I'll get double, so WRONG, this burger was so big I cut it in half thinking I could pick that up, it was enormous, cooked all the way through, yet somehow still juicy, and full of flavor!! I am so happy we stopped there on our way home, I had never been there but will most certainly be back!! The picture goes it no justice on how big it truly was!!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice brunch with loads of homemade goodness.. We of course over ordered, too much to decide lol.. Our choices included pancakes, biscuits and sausage gravy, cornbeef hash and the three meat omelet.. Our waitresses was wonderful and seemed to know everyone who came in the door.. Great local spot making us feel welcome.. We will definitely return when I'm back around that part of the country

Patsy's is always terrific! The atmosphere is perfect and for an older diner, it is very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with "custom country charm"! We reserved in advance for a group of 16 for a late breakfast. They had 4 tables together in the main dining room ready and waiting. Our server (sorry I don't know her name) was amazing! She took drink orders as everyone came it and brought drinks out right away. She was patient taking our food orders and really organized. Our food came out really fast and no one had to wait for anything! She had one helper just one time. As people asked for additional items she brought them very quickly, not forgetting anything. She promptly refilled drinks and was so pleasant the entire time. I think she was also waiting on other tables and it was quite busy. Patsy's Diner is top notch and we are blessed to have her and her team...

Holy tahitos. This place blew my expectations by far! The waitress was very friendly and beautiful. Her name was Kelly and man did she make it worth the while alone. Anyway, the food is like a home-cooked meal and they have breakfast all day, which I love. I'm very pleased how quickly I was seated along with the price I paid. I think it was a total of $8.60 for a huge Patsy's platter. Came with a biscuit or toast, 🥚 eggs your choice, 🥔 potatoes or hash brown, sausage and bacon 🥓 and some other stuff as well as coffee ☕ of course. But the food was amazing and the price so cheap. I gave her a $20 tip and I know you should too. Guys, I'm giving Patsy's 5 stars!!! And just FYI if you're passing through town like I was, there's not much of a choice for food for a while so it's awesome that it's so cheap and delicious. And that girl Kelly looked...

Finally got a chance to stop in and grab a bite of some southern cookin' for dinner. Once I saw that Chicken Fried Steak and Fried Okra were on the menu... I knew I was all set. Sad that the mac n' cheese was out, but Mashed Potatoes (not instant as one reviewer here stated) with gravy rounded out my "carb heavy" meal. Lol. The food was very good and "just enough" if you are hungry. The waitress was friendly and never had to wait for a refill or extra napkins. Reasonable prices. Will be back to try some breakfast dishes because any other meal there (as folks who know me and southern cookin' can attest to) will be Country Fried Steak and Fried Okra. 😁

Please note that the ONLY reason I did not give a 5 Star is because I have only been here ONCE. Consistency will earn the...
