NY Gyro King Food Truck — Restaurant in Converse

Drive past all the time and finally decided to stop after getting off work. Guy working in the truck was great and welcoming. Food is all made fresh. He made it known that there would be a wait, but I did not anticipate an hour for two people ahead of me just for loaded gyro fries, although they were amazing. Think he may need someone to take orders while he cooks just to expedite the process. Or complete each order first then help people in line with new orders. This was tonights dinner choice, and I was very impressed! Fresh ingredients creating such tasty meals! Workers were very patient with me( i ask too many questions)! I ordered the Lamb Gyro and the smashing burger; delicious! My partners only take away is that he wished the falafel was smashed down a little more so that it cover the whole burger but he also rates this nights meal choice a Success! Sorry no photos of the food; we chowed down as soon as we got it. BUT aye all the more reason to go try it...

We travel to NYC all of the time and this food truck rings true to its name and is the closest we have gotten to that authentic NYC gyro food truck taste from there. Every time we eat there it takes me back to the city. The food is always great and the service is always kind and personable. They really make everything from scratch and you can taste it. Highly recommend grabbing a gyro from here if you’re grabbing a drink at Rebar or just because....
