Dollar General — Local services in Converse

Absolutely the worst customer service by the blonde woman who said she had been there for 15 years. She was not wearing a name tag so I can't tell you her name. In fact she had no company shirt on either so that she could be easily identified as Dollar General employee when you have to go searching thru out the store to find an employee. My fiancee went into the store to add money to a card and said it was greendot. The lady tried vanilla reload twice and it didn't work, go figure. My fiance pointed out that it is greendot and the woman became short with her and did not try the right reload. Stating it was Dollar Generals fault because they disabled the card readers in ALL stores. Which is not true because we left there and went to a different store and they loaded it. Dollar General should seriously take steps with their employees to ensure customers are treated right. Employees should be easily identifiable by wearing company shirt and name tag. The manager Daniel closes the store before 9pm and makes remarks if you walk in past 8:30pm. He has made comments to me more than once that is why I think others should be aware of his unprofessional behavior. Today it was 8:58p and the sign says 9pm. I knocked because he was feet away and let him know that all I needed was one bag of diapers. I had zero at home. His response to me was he closed the registers for the day and he wouldn’t unlock the door. No compassion. Two other cars pulled up at the same time. And left without getting what they also needed. My favorite dollar general hands down! The store is nice and clean especially now that it's been remodeled. The employees are AMAZING ..so friendly and helpful! Not one single bad employee here! They work hard and keep the store clean and organized as well as always greeting the customers and asking if they need help with anything. They all seem to really know how to work the registers as well..which is important in keeping the line flowing! Seriously though, the employees make this place 100x better! Candi is just...
