My wife and I called in an order (we LOVED them in greenbrier and have been wanting to try them since they moved).
The star of every trip we've had is always Spinich Artichoke dip is, far and away, the best I've ever had - no other place even compares! The bread slices they serve with it are absolutely perfect: notcrispy, but baked.
The Calzone Primavera (add chicken) was also amazing - great cheese and amount of vegetables. Though, we didn't get the marinara promised on the menu. My wife absolutely loved it. And the portion size was massive!
The Ribeye Pomodoro - it was my first time having it and, at $25.99 for an 8oz cut, I was reluctant. But, my wife talked me into it. The steak was cooked perfectly (I ordered medium rare). As far as I can tell, it's seasoned with a little salt and pepper. So the beef flavor is the star. And 8oz was definitely off - it was a perfect size and had great char. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the fresh tomatoes had a flavor I haven't had since last summer. Add the side salad and rolls and I was stuffed!
We will always eat there. But, now we know the food holds up Togo on the trip into...
Read moreI told myself I wouldn't write anymore rude reviews for restaurants that are really trying, especially newer ones, so I'm not going to do that. Overall, it was a decent experience, particularly for the price. I got a full plate of spaghetti, 2 big pieces of squishy soft bread, and a side salad with fixins for under $15. That's a win. My only tweak is that I called ahead to ask about the sweetness of the sauce- I like my sauce VERY sweet. Although I don't expect a restaurant to understand just how sweet I like it, I spoke to the manager and he said he could add sugar to my sauce to make it sweet. Idk if there was just a miscommunication between manager and cook, or if they totally forgot or what, but in the kindest way possible, that was the most unsweetened sauce I've ever eaten lol. My husband said it was still good, though, so.. I think for people who like it unsweetened it might be perfect. It was a very good value overall. I will likely be returning because it was vegetarian and I'll just bring a little...
Read moreWould not return again. I ordered eggplant parmesan at lunch time. I asked if it was possible to have half red sauce and half Alfredo. The person on the phone suggested that I put the sauce on the side so that they would not mix. I agreed that that would be okay. I figured I would be upcharged $1 for the Alfredo but I didn't realize they would charged me for a full side of marinara. I paid over $22 for no meat or seafood and a vegetarian dish for lunch. What a rip off. The marinara tasted like canned tomato sauce with no herbs or garlic flavor. It was also acidic. The Alfredo had no garlic flavor or flavor at all. That might work with people in Arkansas who have watered down taste but I've gone to great Italian restaurants throughout my travels and this is not one of them. This is strip mall food, not fine dining so I'm not sure why the prices are so high but I won't return. If you want this type of food, go to one of the Italian food trucks. Pasta Grill really doesn't have anything to...
