Waffle House — Restaurant in Conway

Whoever is paying 7 people to sit at the front in uniform with the grills off, doesn't understand how restaurants make money. It looked like such a nice clean location, for a waffle house, only to be staffed by non-verbal slackers. If I walk in and you want to get paid without working please just tell me that. Do not have me drive out there and play 20 questions with you before I even know if I can sit down. Maybe even a "Sorry you drove out here. Google says we are open but we aren't actually gonna do anything right now." What if this is a brilliant business model and I'm just too dumb to see it. They weren't actually all sitting. There was a guy standing with some semblance of work preparedness but he had a towel wrapped around his head and all he could say was "I don't know what's going on." Im not mad at them, of course they're going to skate by if theres no incentive, but today was super lame. It may even be a good idea to make it look like you're short staffed so people are more...

Restaurant was so nasty I almost changed my mind before ordering. The eggs were over cooked and the waffle was cold. Seemed to be at least two servers and only 3 tables sat. Not sure how on Earth the kitchen got so gross or why no one on the clock was embarrassed for customers to see it like that.

I ordered an all star and asked if they would make the waffle after i finished the rest of the food. Server said, “sure”. After she brought me my food, she came right back with the waffle. She said, “I know you wanted your waffle later, but it went ahead and came out”

Almost like the waffle had a mind of its own… it went ahead and came out. How much does it cost to make another waffle? Surely not much. Waffle was nice and cold by the time I got to it.

None of these things are a huge deal by themselves, but all together it screams lack of leadership. Weekend overnight crew needs adult supervision and leadership. IF… they actually care about standards. If not, keep doing what...

Came in to have a quick dinner with my mother before heading home. Store was maybe half full of customers. Took our server 5 minutes to even notice us. Server barely got us our drinks before taking multiple to-go orders even though we had been sitting ready to order. Took an additional 30-40 minutes to get our food, which we were then told that they were out of both chili and gravy. The food was cold on top of that. I requested bacon light, came out burned to a crisp.Server also did not pay attention when my mother asked for her toast to be dry. We asked the server what the issue was and he merely responded that the cook was "in a mood". I've been going to Waffle House locations all over the country for over 15 years and tonight's food and service...to call it pathetic would be a compliment. I'd give this place negative...
