A Flavorful Fusion of Italian Authenticity and American Classics!
I recently ordered a delightful takeout meal from this hidden gem of a restaurant, and I must say, the experience was superb! I went for a mix of Italian and American flavors, trying the Veal Di Marsala and a Turkey Club sandwich, complemented by a side of French fries and crab bisque soup.
The Veal Di Marsala was a true standout, featuring tender veal cutlets accompanied by perfectly cooked fettuccini noodles. The dish was served piping hot, which suits my preference for warm, comforting meals. The flavors were authentic and spot-on, making me feel like I was dining in Italy.
The Turkey Club sandwich, a classic American choice, was also impressive. The flavors were balanced and the ingredients fresh, showcasing the restaurant's versatility in delivering both Italian and American cuisine.
The sides were equally appealing. The French fries were crispy and seasoned just right, adding a nice crunch to the meal. The crab bisque soup was rich and creamy, a delightful addition that heightened the overall dining experience.
The atmosphere inside this charming family-owned restaurant was cozy and inviting. It exuded a sense of warmth and familiarity, making my meal even more enjoyable. I particularly loved the attention to detail in the side of bread pieces served with oil and herbs—a small touch that enhanced the authenticity of the Italian experience.
All in all, this restaurant is a hidden treasure for those seeking an authentic Italian dining experience with a sprinkle of American favorites. From the impeccable veal to the cozy ambiance, this place won me over. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delightful offerings! Highly...
Read moreI am not making a complaint about the quality of the food, I am not making a complaint about the atmosphere. The food is always great (including tonight) and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. But the service is HORRIBLE.
On 5/2/25, we ordered a specific (Large) meat and cheese pizza and a salad. When we got home, we were provided a Large cheese pizza. I called to notify them of the mistake and they wrre only willing to provide a [SMALL] pizza with what we wanted, and not substitute for a large when they admitted THEY screwed up.
When speaking to them, you can barely understand what they were saying. They had a hard time understanding English. It is not good for the business when you cant communicate a simple order, or refuse to rectify a mistake.
We've been going there for years and never had a problem with the service. They never made a mistake before. I'm upset cause I was really looking forward to that specific pizza during a tough time and they wouldn't fix the mistake when it wasn't our fault they messed up.
I hope no one else experiences this. Cause overall I enjoy their food and going there. But the past few times the overall service hasn't been great. Food, excellent. Food quality excellent. Service, not as good as...
Read moreI came as a first timer to dine in. As you walk in you're met with the atmosphere of a typical carryout pizza joint. The dining room is off to the side through double doors that must be kept closed. The room is moderately sized with about 10 tables. The decor is a bit odd and mismatched with no real theme to it. I believe this is a small franchise restaurant that is definitely NOT a fine dining Italian restaurant. Nearly all the employees were Latin and spoke Spanish amongst themselves and weak English to customers. The menu was a bit confusing with a mix of Italian and non Italian dishes. I indeed the appetizer sampler platter. It was a plate full of deep fried frozen items that had a poorer quality than the local grocery store. Most of the items I took no more than one bite and that was more than my stomach cared for. The real saving grace for the entire experience was the pizza. I ordered a Margherita pizza and it was pretty good. Hand tossed fresh dough, fresh basil, and claimed fresh mozzarella though I'm sure it wasn't made in house. My server was nice but left a lot to be desired as a server. If I ever go back I will only order pizza to go like majority of their customers. The...
