Mamma Maria's — Restaurant in Coolbaugh Township

Long story short, this particular pizzeria owes me a pie. I finally called them to make me that pie and wanted to be delivered to Tennersville Police Department. Since they do not deliver I had made arrangements for my friend Lobster to pick it up. He unfortunately failed me, and in return, I had called Tennersville police dept to arrange the pick up but was told by the secretary that she will not be able to have her officers to pick up that pie. So then I called my very own 940 Police Department and they picked it up (hopefully)... TBA!

A day later I had called pizzeria to confirm if everything went smooth, in return, they blocked my number. Therefore I cannot get in contact with them. So this morning I called Mount regional police department and expecting a call from them at 3 PM to find out if they got the pie. I had also contacted the owner of pizzeria by text message and I do not have a reply to which made me believe I was blocked by her as well.

Anyways, I tried to get in touch with Mama Maria via fb but could not find them, therefore, it left me no choice but to do a yelp review in hopes this restaurant will see this and get back to me to let me know if all went smooth with a pickup.

August 2025 - I only write reviews for places that are outstanding or most horrible. I am sorry to say this is not a good review. I've been going to Mamma Maria's for a couple of years now. In the beginning it was good food and reasonable price. It started last year when they changed there sauce, this year they changed their sausage and both not for better. And for the past couple of months, the overall quality has just been terrible and it looks like they have new guys in the back cooking. Half the pizza was almost burnt and tasted like it was sitting under a light for hours and they screwed up my order from a steak sandwich with onions and mushrooms to a steak sandwich with peppers! Not pleased with that and I thought ok I'll deal with it and go ahead and eat it. When I went to pick up the sandwich it was dripping with grease! Not a little! The bread was drenched in the grease! Disgusting! So I went for the fries, which are normally good but they were raw! So that was it I am not going back ever again. They need to get it together! Sorry again, I hate giving...

First thing I noticed when we walked in was the smell of garlic....SOLD!! Don't let the low-key exterior fool you, this place is a diamond in the rough. We're originally from Jersey so we can be pretty tough critics of bread and pizza dough and Mamma Maria's were both AMAZING. Cooked to perfection with a nice crusty outside and a pillowy yet perfectly chewy inside. We had calzone, meatball parm sandwiches, chicken fingers meal, and the spinach roll. One of our party got the lasagna which came with a side salad and they didn't slouch there either--everything fresh: lettuce, cucumbers, onion, olives, Italian seasonings and more. No other pizza place I know of goes to that length for a side salad. If you are trying to choose from the pizza places in this area, look no further... Mamma Maria's is top notch. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be...
