Last time I was here The Brookside was under different ownership and that review probably would have been 2 stars. Since the new ownership has taken over they have changed some decor and brightened the place up a bit and have started doing some differently themed food days like a wing night and a southern soul food style Sundays event. The service here has been good the few times I’ve been in. I’m always greeted immediately and helped to a beverage and given a menu. I haven’t experienced any long waits to get another drink and everyone has been very friendly. This review specifically is on their wings. We were in on a wing night and got the garlic ranch wings and the Kings hot honey wings. This wing special night has a list of sauces that changes weekly. You’ll still have your staples every week but there are quite a few that rotate in and out so it doesn’t get stale. My gf loves the garlic ranch and I’m consistently trying new flavors. I also had the blackberry bbq which were very tasty, and the plain Buffalo (The OG baby) also has good flavor. These wings are nice and crispy without sacrificing the juiciness of the meat itself. They are not tiny little wings but they are also not these mammoth ones you see at some places where it’s impossible to get a proper cook on them and still have good texture. I’ll be back in soon to try out that Southern food menu, but the wings absolutely Didn’t Suck!

Looked small from the outside, but this bar has a lot of room inside. Long wooden bar, with a high ceiling towards the back to give it a lodge kind of feel. Bar tender was great and asked for my name and then welcomed me to the bar, which was a nice touch. Food was delicious and the beer was nice and cold. Decent amount of beers on tap for a small bar. Looks like there is a back deck and backyard too with horse shoes. Couple PA gambling machines too. Good amount of TVs to watch sports/TV. Over all a cool bar and hangout spot for a small town.

Spent the weekend in the poconos and wanted a quick lunch and some football on Sunday before we leave and we stumbled on the brookside inn. The venue was open and the staff friendly and accommodating. When the chef personally told me he was known as “the wing king” and he wanted to make his special peanut butter and jelly wings I was sold. I’m happy to report the name is justified. The wings were top notch and the sauce had pbj vibes while not being overly sweet of gimmicky. Great place for locals or anyone visiting tobyhanna

We have been going to Brookside for about 8 months. It is a nice "dive bar" to hang out in. I want to give a big shout out to their newest bartender named Robert. He started working there a few months ago not having any bartending experience at all. He has done fantastically!! He welcomes us by name when we walk in and remembers what we drink. Robert is polite and attentive to all of his customers and checks back frequently to see if we need anything else. He will get a group of people come in and takes care of all of them with no stress at all. You made a great choice hiring Robert and I hope he stays there along time. I will also say that the food is really good. There are daily specials which are a good variety. The cheesesteaks are really good too!! Thank you!...

The food isn't bad a bit expensive. The problem I have is their customer service when ordering food online. The menu they have still says pizza and when I tried to order a couple of them and went to pick up my order they then told me they stopped making pizzas. They didn't bother to call me even though they had my info so it was a waste of a trip. Couple weeks later placed another order. They voided it even though I had it in 20 min before the kitchen closing time. They voided my order once again without notifying me. Wasted another trip and lunch break. Their customer service is lacking to...
