I’ll start off by saying yes, the food was great. No complaints there. But there is some sketchy stuff that would stop me from catering from them again. I called them around 2:30 pm in the afternoon saying I wanted 30 spicy chicken subs done by 7:30. It’s ramAdan and the fast opens at 7:58, which is a good window of time to pick up the food and get it to our house which is approximately 5 mins away from the restaurant, which is why I decided to order from there in the first place. The girl on the phone was fine and nice enough. I spoke to my mom around 6 pm that same day and she said 30 subs would be too much, and to go for 25 instead. Although I wasn’t sure and still kind of wanted 30 (I prefer having more than having not enough) I called at 6:15 asking if I could do 25 instead. The same girl said no they’ve already got the chicken battered and they’re getting them fried up. Remember, this was 6:15. Again she was nice and when I mentioned it was a party of 50 people she said 30 is perfect and they couldn’t change it. Ok, I was nice too. I said no problem I totally understand. My husband gets there at 7:20 to pick up because I mentioned they told me more than an hour earlier they had already started cooking and he calls me at 7:30 saying it still wasn’t ready. At 7:52 I’m starting to get worried because this is like the main dish and everyone is waiting to open their fast and he’s still at the restaurant. He finally gets out at couple minutes later, but unfortunately doesn’t reach us in time, he comes in at 8:03 and instead of having the subs in iftar we have to eat it after. As we’re eating, the food is a little bit short (just by about 2 subs) and that’s when my husband tells me they only had 25 ready so he just ran out with those because he was worried about being late! The girl said your wife told me 25! I was beyond shocked by this especially because the girl herself told me there was no way they could do less than 30 now, everything was already battered and being fried. It’s just the kind of weird sketchy behavior that makes me not want to cater from...
Read moreWe came to Kings Grill yesterday November 29 to try their food for the first time. The restaurant looks good on the outside but when you get inside it doesn’t look very good, in my opinion the owners should invest in the interior design of the restaurant to make look more appealing ,specially for a potential new customers because remember “the first impression counts “ they also need to work to improve the bathrooms by adding cabinets to storage their bathroom supplies and make them smell clean. As you see I gave them 5🌟because their food choices are amazing and delicious!!! We ordered chicken wings that were fresh cooked and delicious! Also we ordered a burger with fries and let me tell you, - that was one of the best burger I have ever ate and the fries were delicious, fresh cooked and crispy. I am not sure if every day it’s like this but we came here on a Thursday around 2pm for lunch and I noticed that the waiter was an old guy, I believe he is the owner, and he took our order, brought our drinks to our table, brought our food and gave us the check. I know it’s a family owned business but I hope that when gets busy here they will have more staff members to take care a lot of people when it gets busy. ( this place has a capacity for 50 guests aprox. ) Also I did not like very much that the old guy was talking to few other guys in the back of the restaurant and took a long time to realize that we were waiting for him to come to give us our check. My advice, “if you own a restaurant and you do not have the skills to be a good waiter then hire one “ because if the customers have a great experience with the service that will help the business a lot! Overall I rate it well because of their food choices and I know they will improve their customer service and their appearance so Kins Grill will be a great spot to...
Read moreThis place is the best !!! You wouldn't believe it if you seen it, at first sight this looks like some fast food Greek joint.....and this is NOT the case ! I have lived abroad for years in the UK. You become a custom to Indian food while living there, and is is some of the best. Being back home it has been so hard to find good Indian Cuisine, everywhere uses powders for spices and over exaggerated flavors, or, just no spice at all. I was amazed at the flavor this small fast food looking place packed into a plate. It was like they imported the spices straight from Northern India and Pakistan. The Flavors were Spot On .... the Butter Chicken, or what i would call chicken Makhani was PERFECT, the tikka Marsala....not the best i've had but close to it . I have eaten there twice a week since i have found this place. They even have these wraps that are to die for.....try the CHICKEN BOTI WRAP, you will not be disappointed. I could never get my wife to try Indian food before, i came home with Hakka Rice from here, told her it was from her Chinese place and she said it was better than ever. When i told her it was from the Indian restaurant she started tring everything. Now, she is the one telling me to go get her food from here. Oh..., and did i say the family that owns it takes pride in there food, ... well they do....they make all their chutnies right there, no store bought crap. THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE INDIAN RESTAURANT IN SOUTH FLORIDA, and you should go right...
