I've heard amazing things about this place but the experience my family and I had was far from amazing. We made a reservation for the patio for Valentine's Day and things started out nicely but we kept noticing all the other tables around us getting their food, enjoying their food, then paying for their food...New guests would arrive and we were still waiting for our food while the new guest would be getting their food served. Our patience ran out after an hour and a half of not receiving our food we decided to tell our waitress kindly that we just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave and instead of being apologetic and courteous she rudely handed me the check with the full order on it and said my food would almost be ready and insisted I waited for my food to go. My partner went to get the manager involved and upon explaining the situation to the manager she straight up walked away in the middle of the conversation never to return or resolve the issue. We literally were just standing there, it was beyond awkward! We had no choice but to stand there and pay the whole ticket and wait for our dinner to be served to us and styrofoam. My partner was literally thrown down her change and even though we chose to be kind and tipp when we didn't want to... the waitress again was rude, rolled her eyes, and said an annoyed thanks. There was no discount, there was no I'm sorry, there was no let's make this right it was very disappointing.... to then drive the over 30 minutes ride home with our styrofoam food to discover that my chicken was raw and still pink. Needless to say we paid a good amount of our money for a really awful experience and we're still hungry!

Wow, the Coach House is an absolutely amazing restaurant/bar. The venue is super relaxed and casual, with its one unique decor touches, it makes for an awesome place to come to eat. They have a bar side, with 5 lottery machines, t.v's and a fully stocked bar. The other side is small, but fits everyone nicely, big enough for medium sized groups and families. They also have a nice outdoor fountain, with a view of the harbor. The service here is also exceptional, our waitress was super nice and fast. Okay, now the food here is amazing! Totally handcrafted with love, and super unique. They definitely take the time to use good ingredients. The bread and butter alone was amazing, we got cheese curds for an appetizer, which was so good! They use a really great batter. We also got the seafood platter, amazing, and I got the barbecue beef burger and fries which was also great. Oh and the Clam Chowder is a must try! You have to try the Coach house if you are in North Bend!

A coworker suggested we have dinner at the Coach House. He said it was the best place to eat in the area. I have to be honest. I judged the book by the cover. The outside isn't much to look at. My wife and I walked to the dining area and we're greated by our waitress. She asked if we would like to sit inside our outside. Outside. Good choice. The menu has a very nice selection. Steak, seafood and BBQ. My wife had the home made clam chowder, steak kabob and grilled prawns, I had the steak kabob and BBQ ribs. So much food. Such good food. Let me say, for $36.00 and the amount of food. One can't beat it. Bring an appetite or ask for a to go box. Let me say a bit about our waitress. Her name is Gina. Not only is she a very good waitress, she's also a very nice young lady. Attentive and frendly, not over bearing. She along with the food will have us back again.

Absolutely terrible. Came here out of town for business. Wife drove in as it was our anniversary and this was her anniversary dinner because she loves steak and this place came highly recommended.

We ordered the prime rib among other things. We ordered medium rare and it came well done. Thought this was odd for such a renowned place. Advised the server of it, and he was going to have others made. We were short on time and didn't want to wait that long again.

I was curious what was going to happen when the check came. Nothing. I asked the waiter if there was something that could be done regarding the prime rib. He came back and said "no since you accepted it we can't." We had a few bites each and that was it.

This became frustrating and we asked to speak to the manager. We didn't want to escalate anything and kept it calm until now. The waiter came back and said there was no manager only head cook. So we asked for the cook. He came back after a bit and said the owner would comp one but was too busy to come out. That's fine. I gave him my money but he said he needed to retotal it before he could take it. Ok.

He came out with the new bill and I have him the cash. Before going to get change he decided to berate us in front of other guests about what we SHOULD have done, as if we messed up the food experience. Said, "Next time, what you need to do is..." I said there will be NO next time. WE were trying to not make a scene from the beginning, but now we are in the middle of groups of guests getting berated about how we should have acted.

Absolutely despicable. My wife was in tears when we left. It's a shame that they would take this to the point that now, who ever I speak with in the future about this place, it's going to be to go anywhere but there. What a...

Felt like home, just without the Chinese food...LOL It had been over 20 years since I last haunted this place, so here my sister and I decided we were going to have Chinese food for dinner while I was down visiting. And we chose to go to the Coach house, and the reason being is, once apoun a time, long long ago, some of the best Chinese food around, could be found under it's roof. So Deb and I get there, we sat on the bar side, wasn't very busy, this was a Sunday night. Picked a table, and the waitress was an absolute gem! Brought us menus and table settings, toot sweet like! So my sis and I are pouring over the menu's and we look at each other like, what? There isn't any Chinese food on the menu! So I inquired with the waitress, "How long has the Chinese food been gone?" OH about 20-25 years!! LOL literally!! Guess it's been that long since my last visit šŸ˜Ž anyhow, I ordered the pork loin with a baked potato and a salad, my sis went with, fish and chips and a salad as well plus we ordered deep fried Artichoke hearts! Salads arrived first before the appetizers, but they showed up soon after! First time trying deep fried hearts, and they were fantastic!! And the light honey mustard dip was awesome as well. Salad was nice, basic dinner salad. The bread was to die for! Loved it, really! My dinner was perfect, even if I took half of it home for later šŸ˜‹ sis was done with her salad and dinner when I was just getting started with my dinner, Damn appetizers any! I'll still recommend friends and family to enjoy the Coach house! And great to hear Jim is still the owner after all these years! Keep up...
