We were on our way south to Eureka and starving! We asked Siri for the best taco place in town and Jasmine was the first to come up. Happy to have found something on the way, we followed directions only to miss the place. Unfortunately for us, Jasmin was hidden by a big white moving truck and us, not knowing what we were looking for, totally drove past it. We thought it was closed but had to return in order to get back on our route. Luckily, the traffic was heavy and soon, stopped by the big white truck, we spied the little taco truck/trailer behind it and quickly detoured off the road to get our tacos.
When we got there, we ordered the asada and the al-pastor tacos and waited, thinking about where to sit as we only saw tables and no chairs. Looking into it further, we realized that the chairs were being used by customers, who had sat in the shade behind the truck.
It took a while for our food to be ready and for the chairs to be freed. However when the chairs were available and the food got to us, the wait was well worth it.
Without a doubt, of the two, the al-pastor were, by far, the best. Don’t get me wrong, both were delicious but the combination of the pineapple and sauce was amazing enough to earn my wife’s approval.

Dam near like holding a baby it was so big ! The mini tacos aren't so mini , we sampled thier barbecoa which was packed with flavor and thier spicy sauce was like a love letter to just make your taste buds wanting more.
The quesobirria tacos had really soft melt cheese and the tastiest blend of spices in the sauce. I love thier spicy and mild verde. The passonfruit drink and horchata are super authentic, sweet but enjoyable homemade recipe. They added carnitas and it was well seasoned with a hint of sweet.
The sauces...
Read moreThe barbacoa was flavorful and moist. The al pastor is not al pastor. I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about. Their al pastor is chunks of pork loin with salsa and canned pineapple cooked into it. That, my friends, isn't al pastor nor did it taste like it. The teenage working the counter was pretty clueless. I asked if their mini tacos were street tacos...she had no idea what that meant. I'm assuming they just cater to super white folks who want cheesy tacos. Tltr: Barbacoa was legit, al pastor is a joke, show up without questions because they probably wont...
