Marco's — Restaurant in Coppell

I had Marco’s pizza for the first time in Arkansas in 2018 and thought it was the best quality chain pizza for their classic pepperoni. Since I got to Dallas, I’ve been so disappointed by the comparably low quality of food I’ve been getting from Marco’s in DFW. It feels like they use way lower quality ingredients and there is more hourly labor making the pizza instead of the actual franchise owners themselves. I ordered pizza and wings here on Sunday 10/9/23 and was very disappointed with the food quality. I did not even take 1 bite of the wings and discarded them. The wings were supposed to be Buffalo but instead showed up in a weird orange-yellow hue and the bleu cheese they provided was almost as yellow. I’ve tried all 3 Marco’s now in my area (Carrollton/Plano) and have had a similar experience with all 3.

The pizza was okay enough to eat and the little cup pepperoni was good, but the cheese was oxidized and dry when it arrived. I think it’s because it’s a lower quality than what I used to get at Marco’s in Arkansas.

We have been a loyal Papa John's Customer for the last 20 + years but lately we feel the papa john's pizza dough is not upto the par. We have noticed Marcos Pizza open close by our place for the last several years but never had a reason to stop by until recently. We thought about giving it a try! We called to place order and spoke to Luke I believe. We asked if they had any specials. He said NONE! So, we ordered a small Pizza to try it 1st time and let me tell you it was great! So next time we tried it again. This time we are lucky Mr. Alex picked up the phone. He informed us there was all kinds of special. We chose a medium with two topping and same result, Pizza was excellent. price is great, service is great and to boot we met the owner who was so nice, he gave us free Garlic butter. This is awful... When you order delivery, they give you a plain pizza with none of the toppings that you ordered and paid for, and when you call them they say "unfortunately we can't do anything for you, just call doordash" when it isn't doordashes fault. It's this locations fault because the workers are too lazy to make the order correctly, and they are banking on us just chalking it up as a loss, but not me. I will go in person and bring them back the crappy pizza they made and demand they remake it with ALL OF THE TOPPINGS THAT I ORDERED AS WELL AS THE CRUST TOPPERS. I'm going to include pictures of what I ordered vs what I received. They should be ashamed. This location is awful.. Marcos at other locations are really good but this one needs to fire a few people and start over.....
