Assuming it’s the manager in the green shirt, she is the most disrespectful and rude person Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. When someone in my group was ordering, they wanted to add 3 extra drinks to the order. I don’t know if the cashier at the time was confused, but suddenly the manager came to the front and was going back and forth with the person ordering, saying that they couldn’t add 3 drinks. Finally the person that was ordering said “yes you can add three drinks to my order because I’m paying.”
It was then the manager told the cashier to add it. The manager then proceeded to turn around and made a very disrespectful and prejudiced comment towards the person who was ordering the three drinks ethnicity. The person in my group who was ordering handled the situation gracefully and didn’t comment on the blatant racism.
I was just in complete shock because not once have I ever experienced or saw such blatant disrespect and prejudice towards a PAYING customer. I will never return there as long as that manager is working there because that is not how you treat people at all and that is going to ruin customer retention at that location. It’s utterly ridiculous the audacity of some people. The food was fine. But it’s really the customer service that made me extremely upset. And she didn’t even apologize and continued to act rudely towards my group and just tossed things on the counter like we were being a nuisance. So disappointed. Do better at this...
Read moreStopped here for supper on our 13 hour drive home and when we pulled up to the speaker we were told to wait a minute. After a few minutes I asked if they were ready and was told that they were shorthanded and that we should come inside. It was raining and we needed a quick stop, we did not have time to come inside. If I had known it would take 20 minutes, we would have gone somewhere else. The person on the speaker was very rude and I understand they were shorthanded but it wasn't our fault so she didn't need to take it out on us. There were multiple items on the menu board that we tried to order but she told us they didn't have. When we finished ordering she didn't give us the amount so we had no idea how much we were paying when we pulled up to the window. She never greeted us, thanked us or spoke one kind word to us. I was shocked when we pulled up to the window and saw that she was the manager. We also ordered Mac and cheese and she didn't give us a fork so we had to turn around and go back. Being a former food service worker, I'm usually very understanding and forgiving with unsatisfactory visits but this was one of the worse experiences I've ever had. Please try and do better or at least treat your customers like you want...
Read moreI don't know why, but fast food made in another town just hits differently. I was traveling by bus through South Georgia. The bus driver was supposed to give us a 25-minute break in Warner Robins but decided to stop at the Loves gas station in Cordele, GA.
This was a good choice because Loves is a nice station, clean with a lot of variety and it also has a Bojangles attached to it. My first impression was that it was new, modern, and very clean.
There was a short line when I arrived. I order some chicken tenders, fries, and iced tea. I also ordered dirty rice and a peach cobbler. The cashier was cheerful. That is rare in fast food. I found a table to wait for my food. There was an electrical outlet the same height as the table. This was a win because I could charge my phone quickly while I ate my food.
They called my name to pick up my food. The food was piping hot literally. I could barely eat it because it needed to cool. I really appreciated that. The food was so good, especially the tenders and biscuits. I saved most of it for the next day. I reheated it in the air fryer....
