My wife and I were super excited that a coffee joint was opening close to us that was NOT a Starbucks. But, the excitement faded quickly. On our first visit (Now, in all fairness, they have been opened for only a short period of time) we had several disappointments. āDownload the app to get a free coffee for your first visit.ā Ok. The App did not offer a free drink. But, the girl in the speaker stated that they would honor it anyway. āThere are two of us in this car. we each have downloaded the App.ā The girl again stated that we would get the free drink for EACH of us.
However, when we went to pay, that was a completely different story.
No free drinks. āBut we can offer you $2 off the drinks.ā
Wellā¦.okā¦.i guess. We both presented our phones to scam the app.
āWe can only give you $2 off one drink. The other will have to be full price.ā
When I explained the scenario to the person at the Window, the girl with the headset that I assumed told us that weād get two free drinks just stared at us as if to say āSorryā.
If my wife wasnāt in the car, I would have just driven off. But, Iām trying to be a better person and donāt want to disappoint my wife who was so excited to try this new joint. So, reluctantly, I paid $10 for two drinks. Far cry from two free ones.
That was disappointment #1.
#2: The size of the drink. If I had paid full price of this size, I would have been furious.
#3: The overall taste. Meh. Weak and lame.
The lesson: Drive further down 2499 and go to 151. The coffees are bigger, cheaper, better tasting, the staff is always friendly, and (the most important aspect of Customer Service) when they make a mistake, they honor it.
Overall: 151 Coffee if Iām out running errands. If I plan to stay close to home, just brew it myself.
If history proves itself like it does in every other business, they will tell me to contact Customer Service for āassistanceā. Yeah. That makes senseā¦.ask me to do more for you after you did nothing for us.
I donāt want a free coupon AFTER the review. I, personally, I donāt want anything.

I asked for the new carmelicious large and hot through the drive through and noticed they had combos and a lady abruptly interrupted my conversation with the young man who was taking my order and said the combo is for our brewed coffee not our specialty drinks and I said ok so then letās make it a large hot coffee and asked what creamers they had available and she said we donāt have creamers we have flavors and theyāre at the right bottom on the screen. She said we use half and half for creamer. I noticed that the sugar free Carmelo is flavor was there and asked her to add that flavor along with half and half and the cinnamon brown sugar she said ok and asked which burrito I wanted for the combo and I tons her. As I arrived to pay at the window I asked the young man at the drive through of the lady who interrupted our order process was his manager and he said yes, and I asked if I could speak to her. He went to get her and she came to the window and I asked if I could suggest a better way to inform the customer of the combo requirements rather than the way she communicated it to me so that she could ensure that her customers have a better experience she said no, I asked for a number or website where I could express my concern for her abrasive and rude demeanor and she said she didnāt have one. As I was about to pay, I told her that I would obtain it and she refused to offer the franchisees contact information and I told her that I would not return to that location and she said well we are refusing to service you today too, closing the window on me as I sat in the drive through and I left. It is such a shame that for this to be a new location that people are going to pushed away by the manager for her refusal to want to accept when a customer complains about her rude and inefficient way to offer the customers an excellent customer experience. Their business will suffer greatly and turnover will be higher if the manager on duty continues her employ with the establishment. I asked them to refund and they said they couldnāt, I had to make a new order and that the transaction would drop off the next day. They never refunded me and pushed both orders through. Iāve tried calling and the number goes straight to voicemail. So I drove over here and explained what happened. They told me the manager wouldnāt be back until tomorrow. I explained I needed my refund and that I wouldnāt leave until I had it, as I couldnāt afford two transactions and wouldnāt have made two if they hadnāt promised I would be refunded the next day. Their manager loudly on the phone told them not to call the owner, to shut the window in my face (her exact words) and to call the police. I am just sitting here trying to get ahold of anyone that can refund my $25 and I will never be back here again. The manager has been rude on MULTIPLE occasions to not just me but several of my coworkers and my friends. Itās the talk of scooters how their drinks are good but management is so poor. Please refund my money.
EDIT: the police showed up, at which time the owner also did. He was able to issue a refund request and is incredibly kind. I cannot imagine the stress of owning a business. I was to be clear, the food and products here are WONDERFUL. I am going through severe health issues and donāt digest most things and one of their drinks literally carries me through the day.
