This seasonal place absolutely rocks. We were greeted upon entering and treated with much kindness and respect. We had a great conversation and was given a generous serving of cedar crest icecream...24 flavors to pick from. We consumed our icecream outside on a patio surrounded by beautiful flowers. There were also tables inside if we chose to stay inside. This establishment is one block from the Old Abe State Trail. Upon walking outside with our icecream, the owner told us he would happily fill our water bottles as we were getting ready to leave biking. We stop for the yummy ice cream cones. There are several other places nearby to get cones, but we find this one the BEST!

A large variety of ice cream flavors with signage showing what ingredients are in each flavor. So, there's never an unhappy surprise. Plenty of options on how you'd like to eat your delicious ice cream too! Cones, bowl, etc.

Service is always friendly!

There is also a variety of candy available too! Some meat options too in a refrigerator section. We found some excellent hot dogs!

I recommend stopping to enjoy a cone! They have both indoor and outdoor...

I stumbled across this delightful store while looking for a different business, and I'm glad I stopped in. They carry 26 delicious flavors of Cedar Crest brand ice cream. Well, I've only tried three of them, but I'm sure they're all delicious. The owner told me that she and her husband have owned The Main Scoop for 17 years, and they seem to enjoy serving the community.
