La Plaza Authentic Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Corning

The food was excellent! The server/waitress was awful. She had nasty attitude,never once checked on us.we had to approach her and ask her for chips and salsa,and again for our drinks.Each time we were given a dirty look and a irritated attitude. She act as if she hated her job and us. We paid for our food and drinks.We had to ask for 2 more drinks and when we went to pay for 1 coke and 1 jarrito she charged us $8 for the 2 drinks,when we had paid only $4 for our first 2 drinks (same drinks).,Then FLAT OUT IGNORED US when we asked why the same 2 drinks were more expensive. She REFUSED TO ANSWER. Never giving an answer and tons of dirt looks and nasty attitude,we paid and left. We drove from Marysville to eat there on our way to Redding because we had eaten there many times b4,when we get a chance. But we won't ever eat there or recommend to anyone as long as that lady is there serving.We would never wish it upon anyone to be treated as we were ..like I said "the food is excellent".and hopefully this...

A Taste of Michoacán, Great food at a fair price with menudo all week long! Burritos are massive and flavorful, rice had good flavor (unlike some other restaurants in the area) beans made authentic and deletions the way your Tia makes them. Menudo, simply put is the best you can get without going to see your Abuelita on Sunday after church. Plenty of tripe, deep rich flavor and best of all cooked with pigs feet. Seen a review on here complaining about ceviche, They don’t even have ceviche so that review if total BS! I know I know, you see me photo and think “what does that wedo know?” but I am half Mexican, grew up around Mexican family and the amazing authentic food. RANT: REVIEW : 3rd time I've been to La Plaza on Solano and have been disrespect and disregarded due to the color of my skin. There is NO room for racism in our community and should not be something people have to deal with when trying to aquire public services. The food has always been stellar so we go back, but between the giggling chitter chatter of insults in spanish about being white skinned and being put on hold so they can get to they're familiars first I feel the establishment should be recognized for their racism.
