Los Costenos was clean, & the staff was attentive. The food was hot, delicious, & generous sized entre's. Margarita's were very large, & well balanced. We changed the tequila to Patron silver, cuz Jose doesn't like my tummy.. You could taste the alcohol, but it wasn't harsh... Great job by the bartender, who was the lady who took our order & served us... Yum! Chips & salsa are complementary & come with a small side of house made beans, I could have eaten a double sized portion of the bean dip. It was delicious, but if you want extra, there is an additional charge. We didn't need extra, cuz we didn't want to be too full before our meal came. Highly recommended to us. We were told this place is mom & pop home cooking at its best and I must say it was excellent..! Everything on the menu looked delish. Large portions served, comes out of kitchen hot. Each of us had different dish that we were able to share and compare flavors. All dishes were yummy. The restaurant was old fashioned decor as if we were sitting in someone's dining room, plenty of seating. The parking lot is handicapped accessible as well as the restaurant. Service was good, cooks know what they are doing & we enjoyed ourselves. By the time we were ready to leave the parking lot full and so was the restaurant.
