The Library — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

This is a joke of a business. Every night the owner blocks the entrance to the apartment complex and we have no way to get into the apartment. I went to ask them to move it and the bouncer said, "you need to get laid" I asked to speak to the owner multiple times but was told he was not there and that it wasn't his truck. I refused to leave while the bouncers make inappropriate comments. Finally the owner came and moved his truck. After he moved it someone asked, "Is that good enough for you"? It's ridiculous that this even happened and it's even worse that the owner wouldn't even come talk to me about it. Don't waste you money at this...

if i could rate this place 0 stars, i would. we had an issue with a few patrons at the bar and when the bar back came to see what the issue was, he kicked us out instead of the people calling us names. as we were walking out, he proceeded to shove my friends and when one of my friends asked him to stop, he put my friend into a choke hold and kicked us out. i’m still very perplexed that this kind of behavior is allowed by staff here and i would not recommend this bar to anyone. we were kicked out when others were causing problems and the bar back became extremely aggressive with us....

Came here on my birthday weekend after it was recommended. Bouncer out front was cool, me and my friends chatted with him a bit, but the security inside bothered me with unnecessarily strict dress codes and told me to take my stuff off and tuck my necklaces. Got tons of odd stares and looks from both security and bar staff. I felt heavily uncomfortable and racially profiled, so I left, and will never...
