Jugos Acapulco — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Horrible service by the cashier ! My family and I went today, 7/26 and experienced a bad service. The cashier has no knowledge of the food they sell there. I ordered birria tacos, plain ( no onions or cilantro). After waiting 25 minutes, I got quesabirrias with onions and cilantro. I told the cashier I was given something different than what I ordered. She told me, "well, that's what you ordered". There was some back and forth between us, but never did she accept she made a mistake. My husband asked to speak to a manager/supervisor and there wasn't one. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I had also ordered 2 sides of rice and they never gave them to me, until I got up and told them I was still missing them.

I understand there could have been a misunderstanding and/or mistake, but the way the cashier reacted very defensive and blaming it all on me, when I clearly knew what I wanted to eat and what I ordered, wasn't ok.

NEVER going...

ONLY reason it has 3 stars instead of 2 or 1 is the DRINKS!!

Their service is okay, they have nice people, just the service provided isn't exactly great, They mess up a lot from mishearing orders to the cooks mistaking the orders. They sometimes take a long time to bring the food out to you including the drink. The food varies in quality, I've received food that was too hard to cut even with a metal knife and flavorless food.

Recently my order of scrambled eggs was half sunny side up as if they tried to fix the order mid way. Another time I once got a gray hair in my taco and they tried to blame us, and wouldn't give me another taco.

For GREAT Mexican FOOD, I suggest you look somewhere else (Like Panificadora on Wilson and harbor). For great natural DRINKS, this is...
