ROADRUNNER GRILL FOOD TRUCK — Restaurant in Cottonwood

This place started out as a food service truck and now has a restaurant location. I'm sad to say I never had the opportunity to eat from the truck but I'm so glad they now have a restaurant in Cottonwood. Their restaurant location is on front street and not Olive st(I think Olive st was the truck location).

I have never been more impressed with the food then I was today when I first eat there. I got a few tacos but my favorite was the buffalo chicken taco. It sounded so different that I almost didnt get it but man I'm I glad I did. I'm telling everyone about this place and can't wait to go back and try more new taco flavors. Although I haven't tried the fish and chip they did look amazing.

Food is really good. However, the last 2 times I have gotten my chipotle chicken taco it has been incomplete. This is my favorite item. My second to last visit they gave me plain chicken which was disappointing. This last visit it had no mango. I called about it missing a main ingredient. I was then informed that they were out of mango. If I would have known I would not have gotten this taco. I was just told sorry we were out so it didn’t come on it. Nothing was offered as a solution to not fully receiving what I ordered. When a customer calls about not receiving something correctly it is a chance to make it right. This is not a Mexican taco truck. I made that mistake, but I am so glad that I did! I had the aloha bowl with the eel and tuna, and it was phenomenal. I’m going back tonight to try their amazing specialty tacos for my mom‘s birthday tonight. Steak with sautéed mushrooms covered in jack cheese served with an au jus sauce, called the “dippy “taco. Another steak taco with asparagus, mushrooms, shrimp, and hollandaise sauce… And my mom’s gonna get the fajita taco. Yum.
