Linares BBQ — Restaurant in Cotulla

By FAR the best food I have had in Texas since moving here 5 YEARS ago. So many restaurants have an irrational fear of the salt shaker. This place does not have that fear! Huge portions, well-seasoned, everything is homemade, most importantly the potato salad is homemade, is not drenched in mayo and actually has a nice little crunch, maybe from very finely diced onion or celery. I'm honestly starting to think I died and went to food heaven the moment I tasted the first bite of the masterpiece that is the Cowboy nachos. Working in the area and decided to check out this little BBQ place since it's close to my hotel. The lady that served me was very nice and pleasant to talk too. I ordered the "big boy" and 2 lemonades for about $20 and it is A LOT of food for your buck.
