I really want to like and support a local business, however several things happened to receive a 1 star review. The staff was friendly but I could tell they got annoyed when I asked for fresh shots rather than the ones sitting on the espresso machine from 5 minutes ago (how dare I!) Read moreWhat a great treat in Council. Perfect for locals or those just passing by. They offer coffee, tea, Italian sodas, treats, and a great environment. They also have a small giftshop, and FREE Library inside as well as a small library box on the outside of the building. The barista is talented and friendly, exactly what you want at a coffee shop. The locals are also friendly. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and adorably decorated. Highly recommend stopping here if you're passing through this...

We also had some great conversation with a patron who was obviously a regular about his service in the VietNam war.
Thanks to everyone we met there today, it was a...
